We didnt know if there was an opening act and when we got to the merch. Table i saw a shirt with a strangely recognizable symbol on it… Foot foot. I squeed which im not famous for.

Got to see the Dot Wiggin Band play it live opening for Neutral Milk Hotel. I know it's one of those shows everyone will claim they were at, but i lived it.

Put a second stage in and its Lollapalooza.

I think the Shaggs most certainly stumbled onto their sound through isolation and not understanding musical theory.
But i will never not smile when the drums for 'My Pal Foot Foot' come stuttering in.
It's more memorable than many many 'talented' musicians output, so accidental genius I guess.

Loved Pontypool. Other than its unconventional plot I like how much tension they build with dialogue and one set.

Saw Mogwai do the soundtrack for Atomic live as they ran the movie above them Friday. It was great. Sound was fantastic and the album, which i love anyway on it's own, was really powerful and moving in the context of the film.

Lady Terminator is all shades of insane. From it's odd opening backstory to lifting scenes directly from Terminator to the head scratching decision of having Spicolli surfer dude as one of the heroes. Amazing mullet on that guy, tho.
