That prolonged bleeping session had me howling with laughter. I think this is the hardest I laughed at a sitcom this season. A close second was Larry's "Watch your modifiers!" because I'm nerdy and shit.

The show never really knew what to do with the Emma character after season 1.

I like this show very much, but lines like "You're more afraid of him than you are of me" and "You knew I'd be here so you came here with the competition in order for me to lower the price" (I'm paraphrasing that one) drive me up the wall. Let the audience deduce something for themselves. There's no need to spell

IMDB. Thank you for the additional info. I had no idea Psycho was based on a book.

I think Bob Paris and the villain from season 1 (played by Jere Burns), both killed by Romero, are also in that damn lake.

The who? I assumed Chick was a Hitchcock surrogate. Ryan Hurst is credited for the series finale so he'll be back.

One doesn't have anything to do with the other, but… thank you for the info?

It's a solid B, B+ show. It's worth a look. Although I'd be shocked if it came back.

IMDB was another place where The Middle was discussed, but they shut down their Message Boards last month… I honestly don't think anyone does The Middle / The Goldbergs recaps anymore. So sad.

Honestly, the show should have just ended after Las Vegas. It really was the last great episode.

I miss those reviews so much. The Middle and The Goldbergs remain my two favorite ABC comedies.

So basically the show is now so out of ideas they have to steal from Life in Pieces?

Yes. This will be her fifth failed show in a little over a decade. 1600 Penn and especially Growing Up Fisher should have stayed on the air longer than they did.

I can't believe they only ordered three extra episodes of The Real O'Neals (rather than nine) for this turkey!

This show is so funny. I really hope it sticks around. I kept thinking, throughout the first several episodes, what a shame it was to have Christine Rose on the show and not give her any lines but thankfully that all changed last night. By the way, her name is Josie, not Judy.

I would like to mention that Judge Horsedich (it's pronounced Heiserdyke!) once went by the name of Janet S. Crotum. Fun times!

LBH though, Powerless is dead either way. Although Trial & Error is a good candidate for a time slot share with The Good Place next season so the Thu 8:30 tryout is definitely a good idea.

Every week, this show features at least five scenes of people staring out the windows and at the ocean/into the sunset while talking to another person. That's not how people talk!!!

I don't think the NBC show is the reason, or at the very least, not the only reason for him potentially leaving. After all, Kaitlin Olson is on The Mick and she's still doing both. Doing 32 episodes a year is perfectly doable, especially when both shows are comedies and the actors in question have total

Damn, that toothy grin terrified me. I'm legit going to have nightmares tonight!
