I prefer the sword be delivered by two swallows, carrying it on a string between them. African swallows, of course, since they are migratory.

A watery tart didn't lob the sword at him?
She was Guinevere and her father (played by Stephen Dillane) was Merlin. They were portrayed as Picts, and she (and some others) was rescued from some Roman putz by Arthur and his men. That's actually not a bad movie, I enjoy it. Ray Winstone was fun as Bors, and Ray Stevenson as Dagonet was well-cast. It put a…
I haven't seen Dirty 30, but prior to that Grace/Mamrie/Hannah made a film called "Camp Takota" that was quite good. It's on Netflix last I checked.
She said it before and she's still here. Maybe she'll buck the trend.
I didn't see that, and don't disbelieve it, but it makes a little more sense to me at the moment the Gabriel went to see those other people Rick found at the end of the episode. They take the "boat" clue, go over there, find that group and Rick smiles because he realizes this is what Gabriel was leading them too:…
They are on the tour, too, but not on the date we'll be seeing them.
I am taking my son to see Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat in May. He's far more interested in A7X — thinks they should be the headliner — but is curious about Metallica. But we did float the idea of leaving before they came on, semi-seriously. My 8yo daughter despairs that I've become a metalhead. ;)
I remember watching that and thinking it was so *not* what one would expect from a metal band (and I know Metallica's status as metal is debatable). I think I watched it mostly thinking "You've got to be kidding me…"
He can die alternative fact-ly on the yuuuge road.
I'd like to think so. I can't say I like everything she does but I think she does a good job.
My cousin has risen to a level of celebrity via YouTube, and I know she works hard. OTOH, since I'm not close with her and don't watch YouTube for such things and I'm a lot older (15 years older, I think), I was completely unaware of her celebrity until my mom told me. But my cousin has had her own show on E!, done at…
I think this is what I don't get. I can see sitting with a friend while they play a game and show you how to play, or a new strategy. But that would involve watching the game as well, probably more than your friend. Watching a person play video games … I just don't get the appeal of that. But then I guess I'm too old.
I would go for A7X and Volbeat, who I saw at Rock Allegiance last fall. I have really gotten to like Volbeat (they amuse me, and that goes a long way). My son likes A7X and probably wants to see Metallica. I wonder if I should advise him of this tour… But if I go can I just see A7X and Volbeat?
I think I first heard of this while watching an episode of Graham Norton, and thought it looked really good. Like so many, it's a story I had no idea was out there. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Right. And the general idea — rich, hot, handsome guy takes interest in average girl — is not terrible on its face. It's the plot of many a story, and if it's done well with good characters, then hey, no problem. However, from what little I've read myself, and from what I've read about this series, it simply isn't…
The appeal is that this one, hot, rich, handsome guy pays all this attention to this average girl. She fixes him. (I'm guessing, anyway. I haven't read the books. Couldn't make it through the first one.)
Realizing that the characters are different — i.e.,not the A-list of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc. — the DC television shows are fun. I really enjoy Arrow and The Flash. Presumably I'd enjoy Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow (only so much time in the day). But the movies — Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy not…
Oh don't get me started on FTWD. I think they wasted so much potential with that show. I would have gone a totally different direction than TWD, not just doing TWD on the West Coast with different characters. Who, yes, aren't very likable or even interesting. I could take them if they were interesting. I wanted (but…
The plot for an existentialist zombie show? A zombie version of No Exit?
