Well yes and no I guess. I admit I have a pretty low bar, or high tolerance, for things like this. I figure: I am not paying (directly, anyway) for the show. It's up to me to watch it or not, and I don't buy the merchandise so they aren't getting any other support from me. If they tell a story I'm interested in, I'll

Having had a little time to reflect on the episode, I don't think it was one of TWD's best, but I was reasonably entertained, which is about all you can ask from any show. For this particular episode, I do think they dragged out the reveal longer than necessary. They relied too heavily on montages, cuts, etc., to keep

I always figured that was partly because Angel's soul was forced on him, while Spike voluntarily went to get a soul. But yeah, when Boreanaz got a chance to be Angelus, or just cut loose a little by pretending to be bad, he was more fun.

I enjoyed Diamondback, although he put me immediately in mind of Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. But he actor looked like he was having great fun in the role, and that goes a long way with me.

Buffy was pretty good out of the gate, but every series needs a few episodes to get going. Firefly to me was one rare exception, where the cast seemed to have chemistry from the outset. Part of that, though, may have been needing to make a second pilot. To me, Firelfy was canceled when it was getting more interesting

Finally caught up with this show. Lincoln would have been in my top three, but then I saw the actor in a commercial for "Blindspot." Then I figured it out. Darn you spoilers when I've left a show sit for three months while watching something else… (I kid.) Next up: catching up, maybe, with Fear the Walking Dead.

Because that might make people laugh for the right reasons?

Didn't we already have the origin story in both Prince of Thieves and the movie by Ridley Scott, with Russell Crowe in the lead? And that one with Jason Patric and Uma Thurman? And can't we leave it alone since no one seems to be able to beat Errol Flynn (or Disney)?

When Castle was ending in the spring, I saw a few articles on it. I wish I could remember where I saw it, but one noted that one of the actors, Fillion I think, had it in their contract that they didn't have to work more than two or three days together. Maybe they both did.

More recently, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic on Castle.

Yes, I suppose it is. I haven't been. I am not mocking them, please don't misunderstand. It just makes me laugh. And I like some of the music, so I guess they're doing a good job. :)

I am taking my son to a hard rock/heavy metal festival this Sunday. I've been checking out the music so I might enjoy it more. It cracks me up to find all these "dark" metal groups (to coin a phrase) that are Scandinavian. Not all the groups will be like that, I know, but still. I don't know why I find it so amusing.

And the point was not the Hot Pocket, but the disrespect. Shows how little Andrew knows Faith.

I'm a little late to the party, but am enjoying the show. When I saw Roper outside, with the leather mask on half his face, and then an aria came on I thought perhaps he was going to become the phantom of the opera. Guess not, but it would have been fun.

That would actually be pretty cool. I'd go for that.

I sort of see but also don't see why Reddit (or Twitter or whatever) banning any specific stuff is controversial. (Disclosure: I've never used Reddit.) They are private companies and they can allow or not whatever they want. It's the government that isn't allowed to censor free speech, although there are limits to

Every time I see him, and knowing he has done other stuff, I think, hey, that's Mr. Gideon from The Crow. He was so good in that role.

I will take this show over LXG any day, and let me tell you, I have some low standards when it comes to being entertained.

I really enjoyed this show. It was perhaps not totally Baz, or maybe it was Baz held in check a bit by his other producers (and that's probably not a bad thing). I loved the colors, the setting, and as someone not too familiar with the history of hip-hop/rap, seeing the songs get put together, even though I know it's

I tried three times to read The Hunt for Red October. Stopped at the same point every time. Have not been able to bring myself to read another Clancy novel.
