To an extent, if people didn't do massively stupid stuff on the show, there wouldn't be a show. ;)

Tara and Heath are off on a two-week supply run. I've assumed they don't have any way of keeping in touch with Alexandria. Presumably the supply run was the cover for Alanna Masterson having her baby, but even if not, a supply run is a) a reasonable thing for the characters to do since Alexandria doesn't produce much…
But most importantly, he had a small role on Firefly. :)
I remember reading "Misery" by Stephen King and thinking that I didn't like the book, but it would make a great movie. And it did. I can't say it's made me like the book any better (I haven't gone back to read it) but there was something about the story or narrative that seemed better suited to a visual story than a…
I kind of loved that he just exploded. No melting face, no death rattle, just — ka boom!
I don't know what to think of this. I recently did watch "What Happened, Miss Simone?" and thought it was great. I knew nothing about her, aside from her name and that she was black and a singer, so seeing the documentary gave me a far better understanding. As important as learning her life story was seeing it in…
They lost me with the President going to the funeral. Isn't that the one thing the VP gets to do?
I always envisioned Wednesday as Sidney Greenstreet but well, that's not possible.
Good to know my memory hasn't failed in that instance. :)
As i recall, that was actually a decent album. But I haven't listened to it in a long time.
I had that same thought about the anti-vaxxers.
What I got from it was that Koenig felt there was no point in questioning too much of the accuracy of Bergdahl's stories. If his disorder is going to affect his perception of events, which I imagine it did, then any accuracy is gone anyway. At the very least, his perspective would be warped.
Ever since I read about a Star Trek fan buying and then drinking water from a cup that had been used by a flu-stricken John de Lancie, and then bragging that he had the Q Virus, this like this actually do not surprise me. Except in the sense that someone did something dumber than the previous dumb thing I thought…
I was just thinking that I always remember Scott from "Ever After."
Another one to add to the list… Thanks, I think. ;)
Me too. :)
I told a friend of mine — who put me on to GiTS in the first place, and is of Chinese descent — who is pretty conscious of these kinds of race issues. FWIW, he was fine with non-Japanese actors playing roles like Kusanagi, Batou and a couple of others, but he thought that Japanese actors should fill out the other…
Actually I probably have the original Vampire Hunter D. I didn't know there was a sequel. And the funny thing about me and anime is I didn't really start watching it until … well probably until the last ten years or so, maybe less. (Not counting old shows like Speed Racer, Star Blazers, Battle of the Planets, etc.,…
DeathNote is also on Netflix.
It is hard to keep up with anime. I have Vampire Hunter D, but it's been ages since I saw it. I bought Cowboy Bebop last year, but haven't had time to watch that either. Haven't seen Attack on Titan but I want to. The latest one I've seen is DeathNote, which I've been watching with my son but I think we're only about…
