I think you're right about the hidden treasures being just hidden enough that you have to look for them, but not ridiculously hidden to the point where you need a guide. The level design is also a huge reason, some of the levels are fun to replay no matter what, so it makes it easier to play a level 3-4 times in a row…

Yeah, convenience definitely plays a part. When you live with multiple friends that are into video games, it's really easy. When you get married and buy a house, you and your friends live at least 20-30 minutes away from each other, it gets harder.

Might have to get out to the range and hit some balls this weekend, but given what the temperature/humidity is supposed to be where I live, I highly doubt I'll do it.

I love baby park with 6+ people, it just becomes a cluster F with shells and stuff flying around. I normally like tracks where you have to have skill to win, but baby park is just too much fun. We did that track at least once while I was playing on the 8th.
