I want to say Budd Bronski on Wings but I think I am unfairly blaming him for a show that was already in decline and trying to replace the fan favorite Thomas Haden Church. Also, discovering that he was only in 8 episodes makes me feel as though my memory of him is skewed.

I didn't mind Lyla Garrity, but a lot of that might have been lust for the actress. Lyla Garrity was by design a tragic yet annoyingly optimistic character.
