If by "have been dicks to Cubs fans for years and years" you mean "making fun of them for having a (usually) super-sucky team that hasn't won a pennant since 1945 and when they are good usually find a way to Cub it up", then yes, that is true.
(BTW) I always admire Chicagoans who are White Sox fans. Something very

Oh please. Everyone says that. Check out the Cardinals fan forums if you don't believe me. The general consensus there is that Buck goes out of his way to diss St. Louis because he doesn't want to look like a homer and because he wants to be liked by the suits in NY.
By the way… (speaking as a Cards fan)… until just

I was curious if it was the perceived bias issue. Being originally from the midwest I find it funny hearing people whine about Buck's alleged bias towards the St. Louis teams, seeing as we've spent our entire lives watching and listening to sportscasters, reporters and commentators who were seemingly ALL from the New

Always baffled by the Joe Buck hatred. Not that I'm a huge fan…but he seems relatively benign. What're your reasons for hatred?

"Saint Patrick of Buchananomics!"

And shame on the Reagan Administration for not taking an early and active lead on telepod-based, cross-species genetic mutation mishaps!

I saw it with a small but very baffled audience at the Sunset 5 in Los Angeles. (now the Sundance) My only complaint…not pretentious enough.

A few years ago channel 5 in L.A. (local independent) was showing this. They kept in every limp-dissolving, compound-fracture-bone-showing, pus-oozing frame. But then they placed one of those blurry blobs, (the kind used to hide the faces of people who didn't sign a release), over his groin area when he was crawling

I'm almost as tired of Trump-bashing as I am of Trump. Just tired of all things Trump, I guess. Fucking lose and be done with it already.

…and written by Paul Simon.

I haven't been so unamused since I got burned for eighty bucks for tickets to Lead Zeppelin, Leonard Skinnard and Vinyl Hampton.

"And that's how some scrappy lads met The Beatles! See 'The Beatles: Eight Days A Week', Rated PG-13, September 16 in selected theaters and IMAX!"

On the one hand…don't think she's funny at all and find myself switching channels when she shows up on Weekend Update…
On other hand… don't have anything against her personally, (seems like a nice enough person) and feel bad that jack-asses were mean to her on Twitter and don't want to seem like one of them for NOT

"Something something sketchy Iran deal something continued weak growth something blah blah national debt blah…"
Shut up! President O'Dreamy made us a mix tape! (swoon)

Seriously?

I remember Howard Stern talking about it at the time. He'd try to talk quickly and would get tripped up.
Liked him on the show a lot, though. Particularly as a member of the Mersey Birds in "The 1960's Movie".

Really? I liked him in sketches but he was way out of his league doing Update. He was constantly blowing punchlines and tripping over his words. Felt really uncomfortable and nervous. (trust me, I'm not the only one saying this)

I appreciated his contriteness on his first night after replacing Norm, generally apologizing for not being him.
BTW, anyone else remember how uncomfortable it was watching (the otherwise enjoyable) Kevin Nealon try to stumble through the news?

Well my friend, I guess YOU didn't have a 1981 GMC Suburban with tinted windows and velour seats. Ahem.

(just watched the clip)
Relieved to know that I haven't missed much these past several non-Simpson-watching years. Good god that was flat. ("Hillary is cranky and shrewish! Trump reads speeches by Hitler! OMG! LMAO!!!")
