Nice bookends in this one: we begin with Falcone turning away in apathy as his goons kill some shmo, signaling his lack of enthusiasm for his job, and ends as he murders a woman with his bare hands.

I hope I'm not the only one to mention this, but Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever is considered by many to be the second Wilburys album, with Jeff Lynne giving the album the crisp production of the other two. It also featured Lynne's bass, electric guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals, as well as guitar and vocals from

The collective Oh, shit moment when Wonder Woman appears is one of my favorites in the series in general, and for Wonder Woman in media in general.

I would call the show more like Sailor Moon meets Jimmy Two-Shoes. Certain items, like the wand, appear to be a deliberate shout-out to the former. I am surprised that nowhere did the review mention the Manic-Pixie Dream-Girl trope, given that the AV Club was the first to identify it.

Hey, it's my externalized inner monologue. It goes how I want. We also had tacos.

I had a similar thought when Korrasami happened, but remember a few years back, when there were professional stick-up-their-ass types up in arms because they thought SpongeBob Squarepants or the Teletubbies were promoting a 'homosexual agenda'? Where are those people now? These shows need the publicity.

Here's the conversation I had in my head with a Strawman Conservative Über-Religious-Type as the episode was playing:
SCURT: "Look at the sexual filth they're putting on children's television these days!"
Me: "Well, don't you think television aimed at adolescent children should in SOME way address the strange and

Sure it was gay, there was music and dancing, and merry-making, running on the beaches, all as gaily and care-free as you could wish for! The gayest of times was had by all.

Well, Steven technically IS a shapeshifter. And a rockstar.

…and of course in Canada, the whole thing is flip-flopped.

Which went on to be the single defining trait of Peter Griffin, and the source of some of the best Tracy Jordan (of 30 Rock fame) lines (I.E., "If it wasn't for you people I'd be living in Africa. Gorgeous, politically stable Africa!")

…Though in terms of daily usability, it's hard to top "Can't talk. Eating."

The last episode mentioned actually contains my personal favorite: Can't we have one meeting that doesn't end with us digging up a corpse?

Also: Baby Gerald, Johnny Tightlips, Stampy, Leopold, The Blue-Haired Lawyer, Artie Ziff, Drederick Tatum, and Sherri, but not Terri.

"Epilogue" also has what I will comfortably call the best spooge joke in children's television.

Just in case you forgot about Terry loving yogurt, he's enjoying a cup in the gym scene to remind you. Speaking of Terry and dairy products, was "Chocolate Milk" the name of the episode where he was going to get a vasectomy? I think I just realized a second level of meaning to that title in that context…

I'm a fan of semicolons myself; and the occasional…ellipsis.

Nah, the South Park one is more like "Nissse" with an even more sibilant 's', but without the vaguely Yiddish/Australian "Oy!" in the middle.

Also, I think Finn's "N'ooys!" comes courtesy of Key & Peele.

I like when an episode of a show plays out like a fanfic of that show.
