The movie hints that Harvey has a dark side before he turns when he psychologically tortures the mentally ill guy. Joker is more of a catalyst than the cause of his turn. Plus, the ferry scene is a direct refutation of Joker’s philosophy.

That’s complete bullshit. It’s a sequel to a 25 year old movie, starring 80 year old cartoon characters, and references r-rated stuff like The Matrix and Game of Thrones. Which part of that is designed to appeal to modern day children, again?

Now playing

Other than The Simpsons and maybe Rugrats, why would animators be inspired by any of those shows? They looked like a hundred other cartoons and their animation was rote. Ren & Stimpy was actually groundbreaking, and the animation was a thousand times more expressive than most of those shows. Plus, artists tend to like

I’d say Snakes on a Plane was, even if “meme" wasn't in the cultural lexicon at the time.

I honestly thought it was one of the funniest episodes of the show.

Small money? They’re all millionaires! If you’ve got that kind of money to throw around, then give some to me.

How the fuck is a game supposed to get “good word-of-mouth" if nobody has played it because nobody can find it on the store?

Uh, “passive consumption" is playing only what strangers online tell you to play.

And, to you, “shovelware" = anything that's not a AAA Playstation exclusive.

I’m betting you think it’s legal to upload full movies to YouTube as long as you put “no copyright infringement intended" in the description.

Then your reading comprehension is poor, because what she actually says is that this is a substandard imitation of better music by an artist who cant keep up with the artists who guest star on the album.

Who in the MCU has claimed that Loki is a master manipulator and genius, besides Loki, himself? Because, I think it’s clear that he’s not supposed to be. He’s good at playing dead, but the closest he’s been to real power was when he begged Thanos for an infinity stone and an army.

I see they spent about 5 seconds on the title.

I think Greengrass’s style has been merged in people’s minds with all of the many terrible imitators that came afterward. Watch Identity’s fights again. Sure, they shake less than the sequels, but they cut like crazy, and the camera is so close that hits are frequently out of frame.

Bring back Hannibal.

The beginning of Justice League is the best Superman scene in the entire DCEU, poorly CGI’d mustache and all.

And the trilogy ends with Bruce getting over his trauma, quitting Batman, and getting a girlfriend. Though I’m sure some Snyder fans see that as a bad thing.

Outright saying its fake makes them look bad, especially since they don’t know who made the claims so they can’t offer specific counter evidence. Why don’t you have any counter to the Texas CIG employees who say it’s fake?

They didn't face any consequences in Civil War, either, unless you count the barest whiff of government regulation that is immediately ignored the next movie.

This just makes me want to see it more. The action is almost uniformly terrible and lacking stakes in MCU and DCCU movies, so I’m perfectly fine with having less. And, if the movie wants to put more focus on other interesting characters, I'm fine with that, too. People complained that there was not enough Batman in
