“But nostalgia for 36 year ago only works if you’re over 50.”

“I truly believe Nolan thinks he made the greatest movie ever made with Tenet”

The plan was not to kill specific people from the past, it was to reverse the prevailing winds of time. Thing is, no one knew what would actually happen when the algorithm was activated. It’s related to inversion, but it’s not the same thing. It might have a large chance to destroy the universe, but it doesn’t matter

That would be due to it’s well written story, and its perfectly paired visuals that is evocative of old school rpgs. It certainly isn't because of the incredibly shallow gameplay.

It’s water resistant, not waterproof. It did not earn an IP68 rating.

Well that’s at least 70% because Zack Snyder shot him as a cool slo-mo action badass, and left out some of his repellant aspects.

I had no idea about the nude photo until I saw the title of this article. Just sayin’.

Yes, although they at least have the excuse that Madoff was an actual investment advisor. The morons here decided to give thousands of dollars to a random guy on the internet that contacted them through a VIDEOGAME.

The movie shot on Andersen Air Force Base, which means the Air Force had input on the script and shoot, making it the very definition of propaganda.

They were literally never in purgatory. That’s a stupid idea, just like immediately resurrecting Jon Snow, which the books would never have done.

Then what’s with all the hysteria about Rian Johnson “ruining” Star Wars? It wouldn’t be the first rehash in the series.

Fighting them doesn’t mean he knows every single thing about them. The fact is that the machines have never demonstrated the ability to wipe and rewrite someone’s mind, and if they did, they would be using it A LOT.

Can you point out, specifically, where they call it a "women's game?"

1. That’s a meaningless statement in this context, as this film is explicitly political. There’s nothing wrong with criticizing the film’s politics. Also, art is inherently political, especially art about war.

I mean, it’s pretty obvious why she does this, isn’t it? If he blows this whole Geist thing wide open, her life is over. Her wife will be next on the chopping block, being pretty much the head of Geist, and, of course, she’s involved, too.

I thought it was good, particularly the scenes at the bar. It was tense because you could tell that she couldn’t quite keep up with him. For example, there were a couple times where she had to delay while she had to think up an answer, like when he asked for her MOS.

Ignoring context makes your argument weaker. Ted Danson was excoriated for putting on a literal minstrel show. If he did what Jimmy did, there would have been no backlash.

Yeah, damn those evil Russians for evilly transporting Americans to the ISS for their evil purposes.

More paranoia, less formal experimentation. Heavily inspired by 70's conspiracy thrillers, but not in the superficial Captain America way. Bobby Cannavale plays another funny yet creepy dude.

Uh, when did they make fun of the Bechdel Test? And why do you think Can Harmon singlehandedly writes and directs this show?
