Outstanding article!

Orange is the new Black is pretty much Golden Girls/MASH at this point.

Weeds

"Let's put catwoman in a men's prison." Why? Who the hell knows. Made no sense at all.

"I'm Blackula! Prepare to die!"
"Blackula! What's your first name?"
"Scott. Scott Blackula!"

I watched the clips. SNL didn't even do the joke right. G's begin the song slow and talky… that's how the Ike and Tina version song was. SNL comes out fast. They just seemed to even not have a good concept for the joke.

gonna say no to that. Some of the songs sound like retreads of old Lucinda. Also, one has the exact same open as Islands in the Stream….

I vote AV club should do an article on these 10-eps shows overseas. I need recommendations.

Thanks for the Last Tango in Halifx recommend. My wife loves it. I really liked Happy Valley. Hinterland didn't have much going for it but gloom. See the original Wallander instead. I wish the AV Club would do an article going over all the choices of this mini shows overseas

Listened to the new Prince and none of it stuck. Instead, try the double disk of Lucinda Williams….

ditto

"written by Charles Beaumont and Richard Matheson and directed by Ida Lupino"

where Robert Rodriguez realized he all these leftover props from Machete.

got it. Robin Hood, Oceans 11 and Fantastic Voyage this year.

"Why must it always be PANDEMONIUM?!" is much funnier than the cloud question.

do you like when green letters are beeped on the screen one at a time… "Moscow" or "Three Years Earlier"? I also like when someone gets email a GIANT icon will come up on their computer screen. Back to old phones in movies, tv— remember when you can't get a dial tone click on the hangup thingy a bunch of times. It

I remember walking out of Wyatt Earp. The first movie I've ever walked out of. It was so damned bad and serious…. and I walked into Bad Girls in progress… which was even worse. Robert Loggia as a cowbow? So the only two films I've walked out of ever. Yuk

Seger has insisted this is the worst song he ever did. Also, the writer may be showing his age. No mention of Night Moves, but …About Last Night? No mention of Hollywood Nights? That was a big soundtrack hit comparable to this one.

the thing I remember is the movie studio wanted Quaid to record the music and release a soundtrack. And Jerry said "hell no. That's my music." Love it.

Yes, that Jerry Lewis could play guitar.
