as nice as this video is, it's important to remember that the Maltese Falcon takes place in San Francisco, but it's not shot there. Neither are all the shots from Woman on the Run… that film has great San Fran shots, but the ones filmed elsewhere are featured in the video. Also, it's a bit of a slap in the face to

You must be fun at parties

I walked out of an all-girl (and Robert Loggia) western Bad Girls. The movie was beyond dumb and the girls couldn't ride horses or shoot correctly. Madeleine Stowe was supposed to be a female Clint Eastwood. So horrible. So I left the theater to see the rest of Kevin Costner's Wyatt Earp. A overly serious epic

It was a total throwback to the original movie. Richard Benjamin as the nerdy guy and James Brolin as the bearded macho, dick friend.

I thought the news segment is lazy and ball-less by bashing Hillary and Donald equally. I'm all for Hillary jokes but could ANY NBC show stop trying to be on both sides? It says a lot that the local news skit was far funnier than the now totally out-of-focus Weekend Update.

They're already considering a season 2, so I understand the ending. I like that the lawyers made mistakes — even dumb ones. I feel they were trying to be less perfect… and anti - The Good Wife. Where lawyers aren't always fantastic at their jobs. My question, when did he get the cat back? Is that what caused the

Find and watch The Easybeats to AC/DC documentary from BBC. Outstanding! Who knew the poppy Easybeats lead directly to AC/DC…. worth a watch. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

this is a hell of a playlist! A good primer on why Lu is great. Recommendation: Could you guys link articles like this to Spotify and Google Music so we could play it instantly? Thanks again… great article.

the only problem with these questions is you will always pick someone older, when really if the did make a movie, they'd pick someone younger. Me: Christopher Reeve — before. Which I should find flattering but he's very boring to look at

trust me… it was colorless and drab through to the 1980s. Fall foliage was the only bright spot.

I remember that album being an absolute failure thanks to J. Geils Band being without a lead singer (at least Concealed Weapons was fun!) And the movie is a bit of a wince watch when you realize the odd sidekick kid ended up on drugs and gay porn… https://www.youtube.com/wat…

A timely topic. I had no idea the red and blue thing only started in 2000. I think that might be wrong. I remember the colors as long as I've been watching TV in the 70s. For TV newbies, here's Andrea Mitchell on Meet the Press this weekend. A gross mix of pink, orange and red. What were they thinking? They

being the curator of Noir of the Week, I've seen all of Garfield's work. I would recommend the brilliant Breaking Point. His best work. Postman Always Rings Twice is a great film but much more romantic. http://www.noiroftheweek.co…

not to mention the guy she was dating last week. She has friends.

I like the cart almost falling over on it's side when the driver hits the curb at :38 into We'll be together. That would have been something.

where can I get an Owl lamp?

I thought she was looking for her sister.
