They probably don't have a business presence there that you know of. I'm pretty sure Amazon started sales tax in California for example because they launched Amazon Studios and had to have a presence in LA. Maybe they have warehouses or 1 day shipping in DC?

I predict TV Club will soon be covering the 55th season of "Neighbors" and Chris Lilley's latest brownface sitcom, "Diminishing Returns."

Free one way ticket to a forced labor prison colony island? What's the catch?

A week or two ago I was in line at the Trader Joe's checkout. Toto's "Africa" was playing on the store radio. Two teenage girls behind me, one asks the other if this is the Vegemite sandwich song. Other isn't sure. The first then sings along, trying in vain to wedge "Man Down Under" lyrics into the "Africa" tune.

Look, Curt Anderson is the one who came to OUR country. He wants us to spell his name some weird ethnic way that's his problem, not ours.

Univision vs. Hearst belt whipping fight!

Yes, Ice. And despite the fact that you are a special crimes detective and should be used to all manners of perversity, in this case you are right to be shocked.

At least the kid herself isn't being relegated to "roommate." I'm pretty sure my dad would have done that if he could have pulled it off.

The only reason a father of a 4 year old should be anyone's roommate is if he's living with two other men who may also be that child's father.

I'm pretty sure the only way to really appreciated Andy Kaufman would have been to be there at the time. Pioneering anti-comedy from a time when that kind of thing barely existed doesn't age well in a time when Adult Swim is mainstream.

How many shows and recent movies have using American _____ recently? Not counting "The Americans" or "America's Got Talent" or whatever, I mean this whole "American Housewife", "American Horror Story", "American Internet Commenter Slash Troll" etc.

Does it even matter any more?

If money was no object I'd move to NY in a heartbeat.

So these are the people who are buying Kia Souls.

Maybe she's only marrying him ironically.

I loved him on Loveline!

I don't get how a great show like "Quarry" is ignored and just about any drama on streaming services seems to get full coverage even when there's almost no response. I dunno.

AMC sure is an unpredictable network. Usually you have some sense whether a show is sticking around but with them and their middling successes all bets are off.
