True, but the books.. well they are what they are.
D&D could have shuffled around a bit without spoiling too much that wasn't already abvious from the next book.
E.g. show Sansa and Theon walk away from the snowdrift they landed in or some hint towards Jon's ressurection.

Yeah, Gerold Dayne would have been just so awesome and dreamy.
"Men call me Darkstar, and I am of the night." xoxo

I doubt book-Shireen will live much longer than in the show.

Besides, playing the seductress on a sick puppy like Ramsay would have backfired big time.

    It is.
Of course show LF knew what kind of sick bastard Ramsay is and what would happen after the marriage.
He's not stupid and does his homework.

I guess it wouldn't have been better for her.
Ramsay gets off on hurting people, so if she "consented" he'd have thought of something worse than what happened.

Oh, so you know what will/won't happen to Sansa for the rest of the book-story?
    Pray tell.

While many commentors here make a point that certain (fictional) women are very much more rape-worthy than others, which one could consider a bit disturbing as well.

It's almost funny is is weren't so sad, isn't it?
I can't imagine what a real life rape survivor would feel reading about all the comments describing Sansa's character developement (and by extension herself) as outright "ruined beyond redemption".

    Ok, gotcha.

    Cruel, but well said.
I don't/didn't like the persons, but their art.

I wanted to kiss Stannis for respecting Sam.

"Though I like a lot of things they've done, I don't exactly think
they're the most rigorous and analytical ASOIAF fans out thereā€¦"
They got stuff like that from the horses mouth (i.e. GRRM) himself though.

At the speed the books are released, who can blame them?

Actually, there was an accident with a condom and a time machine.
We don't talk about it anymore nowadays.

    Half brother? Cousin?
    Who knows.

    Spoilers, dear.

Another red herring lost along the way maybe.

It would take a extra hour or so to cut the midriff out of the Arsenal costume though.

    Also:
"Do you really think this is the first time I shot someone?"
    Not a very victimy line.
