Saw La La Land yesterday. I've been putting it off since I heard some clips of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone singing. I'm a musical theater snob and hate it when Hollywood refuses to cast trained singers and dancers.

Trump's detractors will laugh. Trump's supporters will get defensive.
The most useful thing SNL can do, IMO, is introduce all those "uninformed" non-voters to Trump's cabinet and policies. I'm guessing more of them watch SNL than read the news.
Likeā¦ Archie is Polly! And we'll find out when Polly makes her grand debut playing Archie's songs at the Riverdale Barn Dance.
If you've survived Chapter 10 you'll get through Chapter 13 fine. Just give yourself some time, and take a break in the middle. (and/or over-level and lay waste to all challengers).
My first playthrough was messy. It seemed ridiculously hard because I couldn't master the new combat rhythms. I appreciated the story and level design more on a second run.
Don't forget the pending DLC chapters!
After watching some Twitch players crawling through Resident Evil 7 I watched the highlights of a 2.5 hour, knife-only speedrun. It goes from terrifying to silly when you see a guy charging past all the exposition spouting villains.
I sent some old games to Amazon Trade in and got a decent price. I've got a few others I'm planning to trade after one last replay. I might use that to justify another game purchase.
My first playthrough of Fallout 4 continues. My level 14 character kept running into 25-35 enemies on the critical path so I've stepped back to subquest and settlement build. Observations thus far:
This role would be fun with a Parker Posey type who could send it up.
At this point the Iron Bull / Inquisitor relationship in Dragon Age Inquisition remains the healthiest pop culture depiction of BDSM culture I've seen.
That's interesting. These movies could be sexier if they had a sense of humor. James has been mocked ruthlessly by critics and seems to take herself very seriously.
Thili, are you saying the movies succeed as sexual fantasies? Or simply that the elements the reviewer criticizes are beside the point?
Any vocal coaches reading this? Is Jake a tenor or a bari-tenor?
The boss sprites are gorgeous but the levels have no personality whatsoever.
I'd enjoy an X-Men action/adventure/school game in the style of Rockstar's Bully.
Rather than malice I see it as accepting a project you don't like for the paycheck.
One could argue that the DC filmmakers seem to have active contempt for their characters.
Hail, Caesar! had the look of classic Hollywood but not the style or energy. The pacing at points could be downright lethargic.
The cast album for Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen was released this weekend and there are some interesting parallels to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
