Saw La La Land yesterday. I've been putting it off since I heard some clips of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone singing. I'm a musical theater snob and hate it when Hollywood refuses to cast trained singers and dancers.

The most useful thing SNL can do, IMO, is introduce all those "uninformed" non-voters to Trump's cabinet and policies. I'm guessing more of them watch SNL than read the news.

If you've survived Chapter 10 you'll get through Chapter 13 fine. Just give yourself some time, and take a break in the middle. (and/or over-level and lay waste to all challengers).

My first playthrough was messy. It seemed ridiculously hard because I couldn't master the new combat rhythms. I appreciated the story and level design more on a second run.

After watching some Twitch players crawling through Resident Evil 7 I watched the highlights of a 2.5 hour, knife-only speedrun. It goes from terrifying to silly when you see a guy charging past all the exposition spouting villains.

I sent some old games to Amazon Trade in and got a decent price. I've got a few others I'm planning to trade after one last replay. I might use that to justify another game purchase.

My first playthrough of Fallout 4 continues. My level 14 character kept running into 25-35 enemies on the critical path so I've stepped back to subquest and settlement build. Observations thus far:
