I quit the Telltale TWD game early on when i saw there was no way to "win." The player isn't there to overcome challenges & obstacles. TWD's narrative gets arbitrarily worse the longer you play it, suggesting that the only way to "help these people" was not to play.

Rebecca's NY life interests me. The flashbacks have suggested she did all the "healthy" thing society tells depressed people to do. She's had drugs and therapy. She's spent time "alone to work on herself." She's "focused on her career." They didn't solve the underlying issues anymore than her current choices have.

"How do you solve a problem like Josh Cha-aan?"

My endgame is Rebecca sitting down in the series finale with Dr. Akopian to have a full conversation.

He did mention Tucker was "going through a difficult time." Possibilities there.

For a second I thought it was going to end with Rebecca jumping off the cliff.

Naomi telling Josh "Robert was her dog. Don't mention him to her or she'll get upset" was certainly Naomi at her best.

And they gave his arc some emotional closure that they can't give to the other characters any time soon.

I recall Mother Superior turning down Maria when she fled to the church after romance jitters. Josh needs some "Climb Every Mountain" action.

I'm torn. I still love this show but feel S2 spent a lot of time treading water. The finale had so much core plot and character development while the rest of the season was burning through subplots.

I wished I could push those untouched Gwent quests into a separate menu. I had no patience for it.

I like them both but found G1's levels had more cohesive storytelling. G2's levels were pure platforming, which was great for many, but I didn't have as much time spending time in them. Then again I'm one of the people who spent ages in the courtyard in Super Mario 64.

Eyewitness had the same "I saw a murder but don't want anyone to know I was having sex" premise. Like then I say "Just tell the cops you were out drinking."

After picking a base character for my "Boss" (a middle aged black woman with a deep voice) I enjoyed changing the voice and body type as my whim allowed throughout the game.

He's gone from being the "Will" in the comics to the "Jack" on the TV show. Both are amusing tropes… but they are still tropes.

In the comics Kevin is a stressed out overachiever. Veronica plays the wacky friend to his straight-laced personality. He also has a nice non-romantic friendship with Jughead that I'd like to see explored in the show.

I approve of the Christina Crawford / Rhoda Penmark direction they're going with Betty.

I saw the play and had mixed feelings. Franko was fun but off stage for too long. The shop owner was constantly monologue-ing about his past but came across as dull. I'll check the show out at some point and see if Judd Hirsch brings some spark to the role.

The lore provides some payoff to the mysteries of DA:O and DA2 but the new characters you play don't get the significance of the discoveries.
