I enjoyed Oxenfree but agree that the characters are easier to buy as college students. I had the opposite reaction to the act-younger-than-they-are crew of Final Fantasy XV.

I picked up Persona 4 after a critic mentioned Kanji's dungeon. I was disappointed with how his arc was handled but I fell in love with the rest of the game. I find 4's crew fun to spend time with. 3's cast was too dour for my taste.

I've finished the "Dangerous Minds" quest in Fallout 4. The aesthetics reminded me of the game Bastion. Nick Valentine is a delightful character. He's brings a shot of personality into a world of bland NPCs.

There are more strategic things to cancel than the Oscars. They'd be a greater challenge as boycotts require larger numbers than most protests to have an impact.

I keep reading "I don't care about (xyz). I care about jobs!"
If you say "we have jobs" they counter with "not jobs in (whatever field I'm in)."
If/when their politician of choice fails to produce their job of choice the question is how many will turn on him and how many will say "that's (someone elses') fault."

We got a variation of this in the otherwise forgettable Jurassic Park III.

And the director is… Matt Damon. Let the fan fiction begin!

So this "live action musical" is filled with ugly animated characters and non-singers? This disappoints me. Or is this going to be a "musical for people who don't like musicals" ala La La Land? That phrase is usually double speak for "our leads can't sustain a high note." At least Audra McDonald's hiding in the

I'm guessing it's because magic.

I like Strangers on a Train but Farley Granger's leading man is dull next to Robert Walker's villain. If he'd been a little more attracted to Walker or a little more likely to commit a murder himself the suspense level would be higher.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent does a wonderful job building tension. The monster-free opening is ominous and there's something satisfying about successfully hiding from the creatures. Sadly the tension was not sustained for me. Once I got a good look at the main monsters they resembled Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare

The sequel to La La Land we never knew we needed.

I just finished the pilot and it was good trashy fun. It was interesting to make Veronica the point-of-view character though they had to ratchet most of the women into super-villain territory to establish Ronnie's not the "mean girl." They quickly establish that Archie's a drip and that all the love interests could do

I loved Paula's line: "Wow. We have nothing in common and yet we have the exact same father."

I'd ship it.

I was waiting for someone to tell him that office power naps weren't about laziness. They're about efficiency! I think that's a buzzword that Nathaniel could get behind.

I'm assuming they can't afford to pay all their guest stars per episode and are saving several up for the wedding. Characters have been missing for key moments throughout the season. I wish we'd gotten a scene with "Broom Darryl" as a payoff to the "Love Kernals" gag.

Josh is becoming increasingly beside the point on this show. A nice touch this episode was that he's starting to realize it.

I'm guessing a black chocobo.. Some folks at the carnival were talking about them.

You'll need a combination of an exterminator and store bought bed leg traps. I replaced my bed with a cot during my extermination process. Then developed an allergic rash to the cot and convinced myself it was more bug bites. I nagged the exterminator for weeks before my doctor diagnosed the rash. It was quite a
