Pop that baby open and give it a spin! :-)

You can maintain all you want but I just quoted you the dictionary definition for "whining".

I take it you've never met a dudebro before…

"To complain in an annoying way". There is nothing implicit about "right" or "wrong" when whining.

But isn't the entire point of Hudson that he's a macho moron who, when the shit really hits the fan, turns into a paranoid sack of jello? As someone below (or above?) mentioned, Hudson thinks he's the right character for the marines and the machine but it turns out he's exactly the opposite.

Essentially it's an extended version of Alien 3 that dramatically reworks the film. It's actually an official version of the film that was initially released in the Alien Quadrilogy box set.

The Assembly Cut is pretty fantastic.

What specifically did you find cheesy? I think that's probably the last adjective I'd apply to Aliens.

You're incorrect, of course. Whining can occur whether someone is right or wrong.

It's rabbit holes all the way down.

Whining about whining about political correctness tops all three.

Wowzers. Now that was a scorching review.

If the suit was "dropped" why was there a decision rendered?

Did she deliberately screw Nurmi though? As I understand it, Nurmi sued Peterson for 10 million dollars for pirating her Vampira character and lost the suit. Keep in mind that Nurmi hadn't been "Vampira" for 25 or so years and was pretty much a forgotten character.

Wunderbar!

I couldn't resist replying to this tangential thread:

They somehow managed to luck out the last couple games of the season to earn a wild card berth.

For the record, I wasn't repeatedly saying "what the actual fuck" regarding this show. I was saying it in response to the near and total collapse of my beloved Toronto Blue Jays at the end of this season.

*reflects on the rest of the film*

Speaking as one of the biggest Star Wars fanboys here I wholeheartedly agree.
