Shutter Island is atrocious. Worst Scorcese film? Methinks yes.

The film ending is perfect. Chapter 21 has always felt discordant/disingenuous to me. Then again, I guess it all depends on whether you're a glass is half full or half empty kind of person…

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed the 2009 "prequel"?! :-( Sure, the visual effects left a lot to be desired but I actually kind of appreciated how they tried to tie it together with the 1982 version (which is one of my all-time favourite films).

Bad dialogue? "Jesus wept" is maybe the greatest line ever. :-)

Is there a better end sequence in all of film? I think not. God, that score is unbelievable…

Best horror movie ever.

I think the only people I recognized in this video were Andrew WK, Wayne Coyne, and Dee Snider. Who the hell are the rest of these people?

That's a loophole that bloody well needs to be addressed but likely won't and certainly not under a Trump or Hillary (or any foreseeable future) administration.

Bloody hell. That's embarrassing. *hangs head in grammar shame*

Yes, because superhero movies MUST be light, colorful, peppy, and be filled with jokes. DC should know better; they need to tow the line Marvel style.

Counterpoint: I enjoyed the hell out of BvS. I actually liked the "edgy", "grimdark" approach. It's kind of refreshing that DC decided to try something different rather than follow Marvel's approach.

I have no doubt that Lucas intended to show Jedi "in their prime" but he went over-the-top and gave them superhuman abilities that are so far beyond what we had seen in previous films that it rings false. Frankly, I think he fell to the dark side of relying too much on the capabilities of visual/digital effects and

So why would "inherent corruption" affect or slow down a dark side Force user? Why was an elderly Dooku able to flip about without issue? How about Palpatine?

In terms of "tonal shift" I'm referring to the hyper-kinetic, superhuman feats the duelists have in the prequels. Both the original trilogy and new trilogy seem to be more grounded in a "realistic" approach.

Umm… I care? As sad as it may seem to some, I absolutely adore Star Wars (the prequels, not-so-much) and enjoy wasting far too much time and resources passionately immersing myself in it - whether it be talking about it, collecting it (6" Black Series ftw!), tracking down clever fan edits, and excitedly counting down

Presumably, Vader is a master of the Force - why would a suit slow him down?

The choreography in the prequels represent a complete tonal shift from the lightsaber duels in both the classic trilogy and TFA. One represents a measured, graceful style of dueling while the other is hyperkinetic and superhuman.

The one in Jedi is almost identical to the one in Empire — only reversed. I always thought that was a real stroke of genius.

Oh, I'm not worrying. Your ability to deconstruct me by a couple of upvotes is quite telling. Of course, there's nothing in either of Geddy's comments that I upvoted that are remotely "super-misogynist" but you just keep on that reductive train you're riding.

You said "no one on earth". I presented a fact that disputed your assertion. And now you are implying that I'm a "misogynist".
