While I was underwhelmed the first time I saw Brave subsequent viewings have raised my impression of the film. I think it's actually one of the strongest films in Pixar's ouevre and one that my 3 year old daughter seems to enjoy (and is not, in the least, frightened by).

It's amazing how many people still cite Batman 89 as a "great" film. My response is always, "yeah, when you were 14 years old… but have you watched it lately?!".

I have yet to listen to her new album but Santigold's Santogold and Master of My Make-Believe are absolutely stellar. Coincidentally, I was listening to "God from the Machine" on the way to work this morning - awesome track!

I must say, his video for Bjork's "Bachelorette" is an absolute masterpiece.
