History is rife with rape, sexual assault, brutality, and death. Frankly, I don't think GRRM has ever tried to glamorize any of those aspects in his story and I'm happy to see HBO hasn't balked as well.

The general notion that we live in a day and age where people are falling over themselves to play the victim/offended card. There's nothing more intoxicating than calling out someone who hasn't played the perfect PC hand it would seem.

Can we at least agree that stating that you are "offended" is not enough. If you're offended, at least articulate why you feel that way.

The Doctor's ability to regenerate is merely a device the BBC conceived to keep the show going with new actors slipping into the role. Sublime though it is, it's certainly not the premise of the show: a mysterious alien traveler, who has a fond fascination with Earth, goes on adventures with (usually human) companions
