This seems to be more of an Avengers film than strictly a Cap flick. Not that I'm complaining, but they could have simply called this Avengers: Civil War, no?

I suppose the role was small but I would have loved to hear his thoughts on Contact.
I'm actually a bit shocked to see so much love/respect for Sinister. I thought it was pretty terrible on all fronts: poorly acted, poor "monster" design, filled with typical horror tropes, and, most egregiously, it wasn't scary in the least.
Dammmmmn was Velasquez hot as Anck-Su-Namun.
The Fifth Element is fantastic. I'm afraid you were NOT "more than proven right", Herr T-bone.
The highway scene was phenomenal and I did enjoy the scene with the Architect… the rest of the film was a shambles. Revolutions is pretty terrible from start to finish.
The main complaint that seems to be oft repeated with respect to Super 8 is that it plays out as an homage to Spielberg. As if that's some sort of damning condemnation.
I think it was at least better than Iron Man 2… but that's only because I barely remember anything in 2 or 3…
Call me crazy but I actually really enjoyed Speed Racer.
I'm thinking it worked surprisingly well in spite of a "mandate".
The Phasma 6" Black Series figure is actually worth a good $40-50. I hope it was worth it, man.
Presumably the next two films can fill in the gaps, no?
Yes, really.
Well, not really. At least Boba Fett was actually instrumental in capturing Han. Phasma may have had more lines but all she managed to do was get captured by, ironically, Han.
On the contrary, I thought it completely reignited the "spark of imagination" that the prequels did their best to complete extinguish. To each his/her own though.
ABBA spared me (in my youth) many hours of misery as it was the lone pop cassette tape in my father's car amongst a vast sea of country & western.
On the contrary, I think it would be fabulous to have a director of some substance cap off the new trilogy. With bonus points for being female.
To each his/her own, n'est-ce pas? Art is truly a subjective experience.
Your response belies your boredom, however.
"Girlfriend in a Coma".
