To be frank, it's patently ridiculous to even compare the two shows.

Per Game of Thrones, it admittedly did start off slow but the build up after the first 2 or 3 episodes was fantastic.

You don't watch much TV and yet named a dozen or so series…

On the contrary, I'm utterly baffled how there are 20+ currently running TV shows that are legitimately better than Game of Thrones. This past season may not have been its best but it still rises above most of its competition.

Is that even possible? To fuck Christmas music? If so, there's a whole wide world of amazeballs sex I've been missing out on!

Do audio books count? If so:

No need to apologize. I concede that, in time, Star Wars may very well lose its luster — but at this particular juncture, I think the franchise is at an all-time high in terms of popularity and anticipation. JJ Abrams, through only a handful of trailers, has managed to miraculously resurrect goodwill towards the

At this point in time it is THE franchise — not some random series that's kicking about. You can speculate all you want about the state of this franchise in two decades time — but right now? Not random. Sorry.

Star Wars. Random franchise. Got it.

I absolutely love the Bowie-Crosby video for "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth". The song is a decent rendition and works far better than you'd expect but the best part of the video is at the beginning which consists of a short segment dripping with witty repartee just before they start crooning.

I'm pretty sure that no one likes anything, anymore, ever. Unless it's an indie film that's only been seen by 5 people (including the Director's family), of course.

Bob Hope is… a dick?

The problem is that there is no objective measure for artistry — the only thing we can really do is collate subjective opinions from various factors: critics reviews, audience ratings, and - though to a much, much, much (I could add a couple more here) lesser degree - box office draw.

How about RT, IMDB, and Metacritic? All of which have STID scored rather high.

Well… he does have a bit of a point.

"THIS IS CETI ALPHA V!!!!"

Thanks. I just wasted my time writing something entirely similar but you beat me to it. Jerk!

Greedo: You can tell that to Jabba. He may only take your ship.
Han Solo: Over my dead body.
Greedo: That's the idea. I've been looking forward to this for a long time.
Han Solo: Yes, I bet you have.
