The argument against her being "inoffensive". Tl/dr, she's a snake oil sale person taking advantage of desperate woman. http://jezebel.com/wellness…

I know it makes me a terrible person but I'd like to see this movie in the theaters. I really enjoyed the first and got tired of it by the third. I figure the hammy acting and visual effects will be enjoyable at least. I have no idea what's going on with the story at this point but I figure that won't change by seeing

Oh wow. That's a real episode. I thought it was a joke.

I was thinking something around within the past 10 years, but would love to read older stuff at some point too!

Reading Nothing is True and Everything is Possible by Peter Pomerantsev. It's about the Putin propaganda machine and how it affects the lives of the Russians. This is a very entertaining read and I would have enjoyed it more a year or two ago but with what's going on with the current administration now it's very

I need a recommendation! I would like to read a recent fantasy and/or sci fi novel written by a black woman. Thanks!

No. If you actually want to understand the problem rather than be judgmental about it you would find out that while diagnosed peanut allergies are on the rise, and there may be a few parents that are hypochondriacs, it's still a pretty small percentage of the population. The thing is that now we are aware that

I'd almost agree with you, except I'm pretty sick and tired of people bashing gluten free diets, which I follow. You know nothing about me but screw anyone for making judgements about me and my reasons for doing it. You're not my doctor and I don't need to justify myself to you. Your judgements are just as obnoxious

I read The Moonstone By Wilkie Collins last year and it is also called "the first detective novel" (1868). I really liked it and would recommend it.

I did like 5 minutes in….I don't know it just screamed theme park/reenactment society to me. I enjoyed the movie, I even own it.

Well now I want to see the movie when you describe it that way!

I was one of the few people who enjoyed the movie. I got the "twist" in the first five minutes of the movie though so I was able to enjoy it for what it was.

I found it very boring as well, but that might have been in part because I spent a good deal of the time looking at the floor rather than the screen. (I have had issues sometimes with first person shooters as well) No suspense at all for me and I'm not generally blase about horror movies.

Yes, it did. I spent huge chunks of the movie looking at the floor instead of the screen.

Both

We had handmade swallows on top of a coconut. The nice thing was that unless you got the reference it looked pretty normal.

I saw this the other day, or I should say really that the kids saw this and I caught enough of it to form an opinion. First off, it's much better than I had feared. The book parts are charming but the modern parts also are. I would compare it closely to Wall-E and Coraline. It was actually pretty amusing and observant

The spiders! I still hate spiders.

I loved that movie as a kid and I still like it. My kids do too, I've heard them sing the songs. I don't get the hate. Oh I suppose maybe it's people here love to hate musicals or vaudeville. I love me some hammy acting, so much fun!

I also like anchovies although I find them to be too overpowering to eat on a pizza.
