This was a middling episode, but it really was good outing for Iris.

"As long as you're in physical contact with Ramon while he's vibing" is an interesting line…

I love how Joe was so protective of Iris learning that Barry is the Flash, but doesn't hesitate to let Iris be zombiebait.

That assumes it can find its way from a hand to the brain.from the inside.

The last thing I recall her saying to him was "does your mommy know you're here?"

Arrow had a very adrift Season 3. This year The 100 is like Season 3 Arrow.

This is, I think, the third visit from Leonard's mother since the last time we saw Sheldon's mother, who is several hundred times more interesting. Bring back Laurie Metcalfe.

Is this the first episode ever where the character that got the most raw screentime of the episode wasn't Oliver or Felicity?

So Darhk built that huge structure without the US government (or for that matter, the Russian or Chinese governments) not noticing?

They're wondering "if" Hive can be killed, but weren't they able to incinerate Will's body on Maveth and force the creature to need to migrate elsewhere, to Ward as it tuned out? Does that not work anymore?

It was also absurd that from the time of the explosion some two years ago until this week, his ability use had aged him from ~16 to maybe ~40, but just in the timeframe of this episode, he seemed to age some 10 years per ability use. He must have had some epic restraint in the ~700 days immediately prior to this

Especially since dialogue explicitly said that the faker was using it at a higher decibel level than Laurel ever did. That's quite a statement considering what we've seen Laurel do with it.

Caitlyn says that Hunter is "cured", but his streak is still blue…did I miss something?

The same can be said of Brett Dalton.

I'm glad they ended Emerson in this episode. There are only so many times you can bring a villain back to hatch a dastardly plan, only to be foiled at the end. It's clear Emerson's existence was little more than vengeance and very little quality of life at this point.

Toby Levins sold the death scene well. His face screamed "WTF is this?!?". The panicked clawing at the Flame was a nice touch.

Yeah I agree. A ridiculous AI storyline destroyed Revolution. This one is slightly better.

Just how many ALIE chips are there?

Both actors made their characters interesting a lot faster than most of the main cast in S1 did…

Based on Ward and "Skye"'s past, that she's the one that Hive would have <swayed> is pretty clear.
