I think you're misunderstanding me (now we're caught in a sit-com!). I'm not defending Frasier at all. I don't even know how any of what I said could be interpreted as a kind word toward Frasier. It's a basic sitcom where almost every plot is built around a misunderstanding. I get that. I'm just saying that that joke

No, I don't think I did misunderstand the joke. Please watch Three's Company.

Misunderstandings (dramatic irony) are basically the bedrock on which situational comedy was built. It's not just a Frasier thing.

"Martin Mull and Lesley Ann Warren"? Something something communism something red herring.

Gotta complain about something.

Knew it.

Oh dear god, yes.

The Final Fantasy imports work pretty well, but obviously those don't require as much in the way of timing your moves.

Captain Deada stole my line.

Ray isn't average looking. I know this is superficial (we're talking about looks), but his mouth is all fucked up. He's below average.

He's gotta be a troll, right? Why does he hang out here when everyone hates him so much? And how does he always know the most insufferable things to say?

Mmmmm… chocolate.

"My next clue came at 4:15, when the clock stopped. The next clue came two hours later, at 4:15, when I discovered the murdered body of Amy's dead, deceased corpse."

Seems kind of weird though to enlist after something like 9/11 and be totally shocked when war was declared. I mean, a lot of us hoped and prayed that it wouldn't, but if you were enlisting between 2001-2003, you must have thought there would be a little chance that you would see combat.

You're projecting that AIDS metaphor onto it, buddy. You're probably also projecting it onto The Fly, too. Nothing wrong with that. It's certainly a reading, but come on.

I definitely need to watch Kairo again. I did not think it was anything special, but people keep talking about it. I'm also definitely a fan of low-key creepiness in my horror. I didn't think there was even one scary thing about it. Just a general mood that wasn't terrible.

Definitely watch Code Unknown. It has some incredible stuff.

1. The Seventh Continent
2. Code Unknown
3. Cache
4. The Piano Teacher
5. 71 Fragments
6. The White Ribbon
7. Amour
8. Time of the Wolf
9. Benny's Video
10. Funny Games

I love that damn movie, but it's not about teachers.

Give me her number. I'll tell her.
