I think the idea was that TGF along with Star Trek would sell a lot of All Access subscriptions. Even in its final few seasons, it usually got 8-9 million viewers an episode. That's going to be more attractive for a paid streaming service than ad-supported network TV that really wants a specific demographic.

I'm pretty sure Christine Baranski said she'd love to have her on the show. All the castmates have had nothing but amazing things to say about her since the show wrapped. They seem to have kept their thoughts about Archie to themselves though, kind of interesting…

No, nobody has. The creators have recently said, basically, they see it as a seven-season story for Alicia Florrick but that beyond that it's really up to CBS. If CBS renews the show for an 8th season, there will be an 8th season I'm sure. That doesn't mean Julianna Margulies or the Kings will necessarily still be

That was my first thought, but then I figured it must have just been a design on the jacket. You know, she goes to Italy and fashion happens. So now it makes sense.

My guess is that when there's an official press release, the write-up will declare it the final season.

There's no way she didn't know about it. I just find that hard to believe.

"Tell, don't show"? I felt it was the opposite. I think that was the purpose of the episode, in fact.

Why does Alicia have to be likeable?

Too bad Archie Panjabi has her deal with FOX. She could actually play Kalinda Sharma on this very show.

I think Cary's "Phone vs. Call" discussion was kind of a meta moment for the show. In the first two seasons, all the characters said "phone" instead of "call", so I think they were kind of poking fun at themselves there.

Can we get a version with the score, but with no dialogue?

I'd say give the first couple episodes a watch. If you like it, you'll probably end up bingeing on the rest the next day or so anyway.

Well last season ended with her sort-of winning. The vomit clip was a real water-cooler moment. And after her Leno gig, she seemed to be as popular as ever.

Finn was injured trying to save/help Will, if you recall. I think that's reason enough for her to feel a bond/connection with him.

Yeah it had the feel of a "bottle episode", all taking place in one area. Since like half the episode was set in the condo, that's what I was expecting. I'm still holding out for an episode that takes place entirely in an elevator. It's bound to happen on this show.

I gasped. What a waste of what I assume is a wonderful red wine.

The Kings (creators Robert and Michelle King) have stated they have a 7 season plan for the show. This is assuming CBS renews it for a 7th season.

Sorry, I know this was over a week ago. I was mostly thinking of Wonderfalls.

Last season, he was more interesting. He had this restrained kind of manipulative air about him. Talking about how he wanted change and do things right, etc etc. But you could see (through Alicia's eyes mostly) through that. But in this episode, he seems like a villain and TGW usually doesn't play in black and white

I was thinking the same thing re: Bad Blood. There were a couple notes of that with Cary being a lot more expressive in Alicia's memory. I love how they do memories/flashbacks in this show, I've never seen another tv show use them to such great effect. And it's practical here too, because they can give us a sense of
