What?!

huh

Didn't read. Just getting comfy for the eventual shitshow these comment sections become.

You had me at sadomasochistic

I don't know, that might actually get some of them quite aroused…

A couple of other great scenes:

I wish I could upvote this multiple times. The Malazon books are the pinnacle of fantasy storytelling, as good, if not better at some points, than A Song of Ice and Fire

Being escapist doesn't excuse a movie for having shoddy storytelling, underdeveloped characters and bloated runtimes. Look at some of the other huge blockbusters from this year that were also critically acclaimed: Guardians of the Galaxy, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Lego Movie etc…they all serve as an escape

I agree with most of these, very good list. However, I would include the final 2-fight sequence that caps off The Raid 2. I have never, ever seen physical fight choreography that well done. It made my jaw drop…just like every other fight scene in the Raid movies. But that one one was something else

2Beo2ulf

That'd be nice too, but I think it was a wise decision to hand the reigns over to Matt Reeves. Dawn, in my opinion, was superior to its predecessor in every way (except the human characters, but the apes are we so well developed and so central to the story that it doesn't even matter)

All joking aside, I would love to see Rupert Wyatt take a go at Trek. He did an excellent job with Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and if he can reinvigorate a dying franchise and update it for modern cinemas, he can sure as hell take an already successful one like Star Trek ad imbue it with the same kind of slow-burn

I…never claimed that I loved Pynchon or claimed that he is a plot driven storyteller…

Wow he totally went crazy, I guess you could say he was in a….

Arrow is really the only one I can think of. I feel it was unfairly snubbed, especially with the stellar 2nd season

I too am interested in this magical shed filled with nubile young women groping each other

Whatever, looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 3 more than The Force Wakes Up With Morningwood. KFP and KFP 2 were leagues better entertainment than the prequels

You mean, "The Lord of the Rings: The Silmarillion: Part 1: Table of Contents"

The Master was crap
