One of the things this season lacked for me was 3 or 4 GREAT dancers. Just last seasons Finale of Fik-sun, Amy, Jasmine and Aaron was one where any could win and you'd have been happy. I think only Rikcy from this year could have cracked that top 4. Melanie beat Sasha and Marko. I doubt we'll ever get a stacked line…

It's a Melanie/Eliana thing where they are so good and likeable from the beginning. Likeable is just as important, Jessica was exceptional from the beginning, (with the exception of that one call back dance) but not likeable enough for me to want her to win.

I just watch it online and thought Zack was amazing in comparison with Valerie. Valerie seems to dance with her hands really high. I think Alexis last year was a better tapper than Valerie but she wasn't as good in other genres and didn't get to latch on to Ricky for half the show.

You know this is true but it won't. The idea of him just not being hetronormative or gender conforming is interesting but usually when a character is presented as non gender conforming on tv they end up being gay. The idea of a non gender conforming straight (or bi) character could be an interesting thing to pursue.

I love the character and route for her even when she's awful but I adore the actress. Moss' work has always been top notch on Mad Men and she was fabulous in Top of The Lake. She deserves some awards this year.
