Nip it was one of my fave .wav files to play in AOL chatrooms.

Does anyone remember this "Every Day is Christmas" kinda bad animation special? All we remember is everyone getting so poor because they had to keep giving gifts everyday and going to the poor house and then everyone had to go back home because the poorhouses were too full. We found it hilarious at the time but I've

The Point, http://en.wikipedia.org/wik… We all knew it by heart and it's so sad not everyone learns the tale of Oblio. (She's got a point there!)

(repeating myself here) His real fear was allowing his need for fatherly approval to get the best of him. Everything else was a mask for that.

Do you have an opinion on A Case of Need?

I think it really was a 90s culture clash- his books were about technology, abortion, power, but really came down to greed and family. I think it was uber pulpy and yet truthful about what we were experiencing.

Not to mention his severe daddy issues.

Thinking JW will be mostly about the TRex is like thinking JP would be because of the TRex on the logo. They know raptors are the seriously big bad of the islands and it's going to be all on them at the end.

"Miniseries" today means "We don't have to say we cancelled something if it tanks, but get all the glories of renewal if it's popular."

My few star claims are that my ex boss' kid goes to school with his kid (Philly area uber rich) and MS has apparently managed his money very well and networks like nobody's business- being available but not easy, if that makes sense.

Has Manny been a mama's boy? I always saw him as the ultimate admirer and caretaker of women, but he'd be the first to point out his mother's lackings. His response would be to compensate in order for her to keep her dignity, but he never seemed cowed or needlessly attached as I would define a mama's boy.

*After all, women aren‘t generally socialized to see power as a key part of their identities. *

He is exactly who he was raised to be, and the world which fostered him finally paid off on its promise.

If executives think it is, then it is. I wouldn't be surprised if the poor menials were told their performance/hours would be tied into how much positive buzz they got.

Agreed, I avoid AMCs in general- their popcorn and fake butter are also highly lacking which is a big deal to me. Sadly they are the ones who do the cool marathons (unless you're lucky enough to have an Alamo).

Also I have to wonder why you felt you were the best person for this job? The extra travel, the no caffeine and over sensitivity to standard movie junk fare would all seem to make this better for someone else. However, I enjoyed reading your exploits and bet it was worth the nacho cheese dust.

This sounds like all the AMC marathons. I've been to a few of the Best Picture ones and it's always clueless undertrained but enthusiastic ushers/managers who have no idea what Real Fans want and are towing the company line with bad trivia and commercials. AMC seems to think this works and I guess since their

Sounds like split was best for all in the end. Better luck with horror love and loving next time!

Again as a horror junkie female, there is a lot to disparage on the genre. It's not hypocritical to take glee in the horror process while also being able to poignantly illustrate its need for change.

I thought you meant SH2 the movie and was like "No one should be forced to handle that awfulness." then realized you meant the game and was like "As a hardcore horror junkie THAT is not for beginners or the faint of heart. She's an ex now- don't push that stuff on any future relationships!"
