Which makes him a little bit like Jacob.
Oops, I said basically the same thing 15 minutes after you.
If the monster was planning to use Locke at some point, it may have been trying to make him feel special (as it were), or possibly hoping to infect him. Otherwise it may have been a ploy to get them to accidentally blow themselves up with the dynamite. I think it works, either way.
Hell, they even do it at the beginning of season 6 when a bunch of Others grab the Losties in the tunnels under the Temple.
He has the dead eyes of a shark. Or a date rapist.
Plus they could've staged the perfect Jolene Blalock/Josh Holloway decon chamber rubdown scene.
Thank you for providing me with the perfect name for my memoir: "Adrift in the Land of Shark Attacks and Splash Fights." And while I agree that Michael's flashback in "Adrift" is sub-par repetition, I assume it suffered due to the fact that it was a last-minute replacement for a scrapped Sawyer flashback: http://lostp…
Except it didn't really fit into the look of the show at all. It would've worked better if they'd had a more daring look overall. I was also baffled by some of the inexplicable seizure lighting in the backgrounds.
You know what happens to a fish when a penguin eats it? Same thing that happens to everything else a penguin eats.
I can't wait to see his transformation into CyberThugkowski.
So watery… and yet there's a smack of ham to it.
"Grab the sandwich" is the new "jump the shark."

Based on the way the island disappears at the end of season 4, it would've made a lot more sense to me if the island had popped up in the ocean where the ship was sailing, which is how it ended up inland. Having it blown in on a wave and smashing the statue of Tawaret in the process seemed like they were trying to…
There's a noise from a printer in "Walkabout" when Locke is in his cubicle, right before they break for commercial, that sounds a lot like the monster. Rose can also be heard in the background saying that there's something familiar about one of the monster noises, apparently in reference to NYC taxis (also a receipt…
I can't speak for jesse, but "Tideland" is the one Gilliam film I can't imagine watching again. Maybe I'll see it one more time before I die. I managed to catch it at the IFC theater in NYC, don't have it on DVD. Grimm at least has some entertaining aspects, and it was the film that got me interested in Heath…
Woo hoo! I did something!
