Yes, but with the word 'bigot' stamped into the HDPE of its soul.

If it sounds like a duck…

And he left them and went out of the city, into Bethany, and he lodged there?

Yeah, but on Mars, the gods have a habit of going round to atheists' houses and smashing their windows.

*Points to slim overlap of hipsters watching it ironically.*

Meh, may as well. If these duck people are what's gonna cause your heart to go, you were gonna go anyway.

I keep almost watching upstream color on netflix, but I can't shake the feeling that I would have to be twenty years younger and extremely high to get through it. All of the reviews and descriptions I have seen (mostly on here, and uniformly positive, even if sometimes qualified or backhanded kind of positive) set

One example of a financially successful film, fairly low on one person's ballot, completely disproves my point. Fine. I think 'only indie films are good' is just as stupid as 'only Hollywood blockbusters are good', but hipster dbaggery is fun too. Enjoy.

The fake 30 for 30 doc about Michael Jordan versus aliens even.

Exactly. Half? Ok. 2/3? Sure, whynot. But, nope, it's all-in. That to me is equally as bad as going the opposite extreme and just listing the top 15 grossing movies. Guess what, some of those movies that made money? They were actually quite good.

    Sharknado, Gravity, Catching Fire

I skipped over those names because I am not familiar with them, with the exception of Chomsky and Rushdie. Which pretty much concedes your point. I initially started my comment thinking to write that DFW was a bad person to take over for someone dead six years since he's been dead five himself, but then steered

David Foster Wallace, and this comes from a reader and admirer of his, was not a public figure. Go to a public place and ask 100 people if they have heard of him and you will get 90-100 no's. Also, he has been dead for 5 years, which isn't terribly recent.

I went there hoping to find a restaurant with potatoes and llama steaks, but I had to settle for potatoes and regular steak.

Premieres January 13. 34 Days left on the Final Countdown

    It's a gross picture. 16 x 9 = 144. Get it? Hardeeharhar.

"Thus, with time and effort, even someone who’s never painted before can paint a Vermeer. "

Alright folks, downgrade to yellow. It wasn't a WMD after all.

I'll 196 miles from Seattle you.
