I think it's more the fact that, if that turns to be true, it means Kevin lied to Patrick. One thing to say "Jon and I split, can we give us a try" compared to "I ended it with Jon for you"

True. I guess I've tried to block that whole cringe-worthy speech from my mind!

That's probably true, but didn't Patrick say something in this episode to the effect of "my sister thinks I ruined the world's most perfect relationship" - so she clearly at least knows of the breakup.

To me, it was more of "oh look, someone who I have become sorta friends with over the past month or two has been talking shit about me this whole time!" If I were Patrick, I might not have walked out of the restaurant, but later I would have been like "no need for a friend like that." Patrick has had pretty much

Either because he's ultimately endgame for Patrick, or maybe just because Raul Castillo is popular with fans. He did hurt puppy-dog eyes extremely well tonight, but the timing feels kind of convenient. Richie was fine a few weeks ago when Patrick was a sad hot mess, but now that he's with Kevin…

Fantastic episode. Easily the best one this season. It was nice to see the Gallaghers as a mostly united unit as opposed to so fragmented. Over the Kev/V stuff though. V has not come across well at all this season.

I hope so. I miss him having any sort of real, meaningful dialogue. We haven't really heard him have an actual conversation since the fight with Mickey's dad in 04x11.

Say what you want about Patrick, but Brady sure was an evil little bitch tonight. First with the lovely "homewrecker gay" comment and then admitting to shit talking Patrick and Kevin (even if it did incrimimate Richie). Maybe it was mostly true, but unnecessarily cruel.

I had the same thought, but this is the same show that expects us to realistically believe that the First Lady is qualified to be a UN Ambassador.

I haven't watched any of the seasons since they originally aired, but I always remember 2 being the worst for me. The hatch was just…..ugh. Season 3 was like a much-needed jolt.

Wouldn't that be, I dunno, kind of…soapy? I hope the writers come up with something more interesting than that.

I'll be really bummed if the show isn't renewed, but I would also be pretty happy if they announced that it will only get one more season (that the third would be the last). It's pretty easy to see how, with 10 more episodes, they could neatly tie everything up in a bow (Dom gets his chicken window, Doris marries

This was definitely up there, but my favorite so far this season has been 2x04 ("Looking Down The Road"), pretty much purely due to that gorgeous rooftop scene between Patrick and Kevin. And also Dom and Lynn's breakup conversation, which I thought was really well done.

And they never have to end in flames. I agree, the dancing scene was the best part of the episode.

Yeah, I think people keep expecting some huge dramatic twist like "Kevin is a serial cheater" or "Kevin is still with Jon", but maybe not every person who makes bad decisions is a villain? I honestly don't think Kevin is twirling his mustache behind the scenes, wondering how he can play Patrick next. I think he's just

I chuckled when the bitchy guy at the show was like "you're basically dating yourself", because if you think Kevin and Patrick look alike (which they don't really, other than being white men with short hair), you should see me and my bf.

Wow, I guess mine's an unpopular opinion to have, judging by all the responses. I dunno, it just never did it for me.

Yeah, but sometimes AVC has been wildly off the mark with this show (I remember them saying that "Skytanic" was the worst season 1 episode, and dumping on S4 "Midnight Ron" even though that episode was hilarious).

Yeah, but Richie didn't (and won't) see it that way. Not so sure he should, either. I've been in that exact experience before (as Richie), and after the breakup, you spend weeks wondering if you did the right thing. And then when you get news like that, it just slams the door for you. Which is why the "I can't imagine

Totally agree. I think people like Richie because he's a blank slate, and they project whatever they want. He also does sad puppy dog eyes pretty well.
