At first I thought it was weird that they were showing Kevin without any of the other characters - he has only ever appeared with Patrick - but then I remembered that they did this a few weeks ago. With Doris.

Lana was my favorite character for most of seasons 1-4. Her retorts were always so biting, mostly due to Aisha Tyler being fantastic. But, as misogynist as this is about to sound….then she got pregnant, and ever since then everything literally does sound like a lecture. I'm waiting for someone to knock her off her…
Can we include Ramon and the gay hitmen?
I'm a bit late to this, but my personal favorite in that category is The Bubble, an Israeli film. Really good stuff.
That's a pretty good way to sum it up. It's hard for me to have much of an opinion on Richie, because all of his lines are just reactions to something dumb or awkward that Patrick says or does. Kevin might be manipulative, but at least there's some variation in the way his character is portrayed.
Probably not. Pretty sure they have them all hang out as friends in a group, even though they have very little in common with Richie whatsoever.
Interesting. Thanks for the insight. But would you say that, once someone is on a project, they are fairly well-compensated?
Why is he more interesting? He's so…personality-less. And he seems like he can't relax and have a good time.
Patrick is definitely making more than 45-50k. Maybe that would be his salary in like, Minneapolis or something, but I bet in SF he's pulling at least 60-70k. Although I've been told that working in video games is pretty unstable and project-based; i.e. you don't stay with the same company for very long.
That sucks that she might not be back, but at least there's a chance. Be happy they didn't kill her off in a literal fire like in the UK version.
I feel like this review is complaining just for the sake of complaining. I can't even figure out what you're trying to say. And also, I have to go the opposite way with my opinion of Daniel Franzese - his acting is pretty atrocious. I did like the "too late" bit, though.
It was sooooo noticeable in the first episode (almost sounded like a different voice actor), but it appears to be mostly back to normal. Maybe Jessica Walters was sick or something?
I read it and liked it! But I don't think the "who am I" gag is solely Archer's.
When one of the characters (usually Malory) randomly switches back to "Carol", it really cracks me up.
Who am I, 16th century female Irish pirate Grania O'Malley?!
A callback to "Lo Scandalo", which is probably my favorite Archer episode ever.
I wondered that too. Maybe he was (conveniently) out of town on a business trip or something. How else do you explain a 4-5 hour disappearance to your significant other on a Saturday night?
Totally what I thought too. Like what? You're at at a party in the woods, you're not going to wait two hours in the dark. Although I think Patrick is only ashamed externally; I think he's reveling in being "bad" for now.
I agree, but to me the post-coital conversation with Kevin was different this time. Most notably, Kevin said "soon, I hope" or something when Patrick asked if they were ever going to do it a real bed. After the first time in the office, he seemed completely flippant.
Good point. It was one of the things that allured me to in the first place, was how it kind of shot through your speakers and surprised you with its clean sound. Live Through This rode in on one of the final waves of grunge, and Celebrity Skin was downright futuristic by comparison.
