I liked Saul… But I really like Jimmy.. to the extent that Saul's eventual existence has become tragic… So I can wait… and wait…

I like the theme of simplicity… I have felt the same thing about the visuals and direction. "Something from nothing" shots make the most mundane things appear interesting and beautiful.

I think Jimmy was put off by the "extra surprised" reaction from Kim, who seemed to be shocked that the boss signed off… after admittedly liking the commercial alot. I believe this is what caused Jimmy to figure he'd be better off waiting and revealing success… I knew at the time he had that convo that he wasn't

Ya… seaosn one was so strong because it had source material from the BBC mini series… which was very good in it's own right. It seems to be floundering more quarter by quarter once they outpaced that story… the adapted stuff was much better than the original story lines they've worked at.

If I drop this show it will be because of Clair Underwood. I really hate her character… And not in the loathing like "god damn" kinda way that you hate a proper villain… but rather in a this Character is absurd and silly kinda way… I will fight it out, but I can't stand her.

Funny enough the rapidity with which they killed off paper characters in S1 should have been MY cue to stop… Ps… Mike is alive and well on Better Call Saul… which I enjoy far more than BB

Ahh, but do you gotta pay the troll toll to get in? ;-P

That was pretty late in the game to throw it in…

    Homeland… Haven't watched since Broady… (it's Broady, right? It;'s been a while…) died

Ya… they had to go to the genius sister to learn ctrl-alt-delete??

He was a cute kid and he's an awkward adolescent… but when his delivery of "a lot of unanswered questions here"… that was funny!

That a corrupt system (felt by many) was exposed as such… and the defendant was found not guilty because the police and prosecution did NOT do their jobs properly… Note: too many times that didn't matter for black defendants… Clearly you have issues with the system as well… Wouldn't you be happy to see them fixed?

Clark has been portrayed as the worst. lawyer. ever. Darden is emotional… the case was emotional and the public taunting, the media and the whole racial circus makes it all understandable in my mind… I would think this case was very hard on him and would have been on any black lawyer trying t prosecute OJ simpson

I'll go one further… a white parent might assume (rightly or wrongly) they can talk it over with the officer (person to person) if say, their kid was in any silly incident or misunderstanding… even something like shoplifting… many black parents don't have that same confidence (rightly or wrongly) based on general

I agree… and little things like that mean that nothing that happens on screen can be taken for granted. The closer they stick to the story the more powerful the production… and it's true, this whole thing was sensational without taking any liberties… also, some will just assume it's accurate so I'd rather they didn't

I saw it as a parallel to the Sienfeld finale… I like that each of these characters bears their own responsibility for their own fate. Sienfeld was a group crime/punishment deal. And since always sunny does everything bigger and better they have their reckoning with God… as opposed to a mere judge… I am glad it's not

Agree it's not the same… But I'd argue race relations have been getting worse over the last decade or so.

Ya… Police doesn't mean "good person", certainly doesn't mean unbiased person, and unfortunately sometimes regular citizens have to play defense. it's a shame but it's true. Note the "cop of the year" pulling over and subsequently slapping the cuffs on the assistant DA in front of his young daughters… It's nice as a

Too much? If it's anyone but dennis… yes. But they have put in the leg work to make "dark comedy"… My only gripe would be the exposition. That is to say, when he's talking to the girl there is no way to imagine going from there to consentual sex… but he continues spelling out the danger or uncertainty of her situation
