I think GoT strongest season was 4 and the weakest was 5. So in simple terms the over arching theme here is that the Reagan era legitimized crime (literally) while the world was distracted looking up at the sky.

It all started so "insert random stats here" for me. Not a fan of the social commentary as a foundation… but that stuff gets less and less important as the characters and story develop… it gets running toward the middle and by the last few episodes I was genuinely impressed.

Probably the best list I've seen thus far… as far as agreement except I don't like Zombie shows and I'd rank True Detective higher if only for the music.. Banshee is way under rated, this season especially was good. GoT 100% this season was a drop off from last but HardHome was AWESOME!

I was thinking if they "owned" the precinct in Dakota they likely did know how it all went down. Didn't think they were keeping him out of the way, but that is possible. I just think it was making the point that business is business no matter how you cut it.
