correct… and with the introduction of anthologies Film actors are jumping ship as well. Emmy is the new Oscar.

I think GoT strongest season was 4 and the weakest was 5. Still the best thing on TV as a whole… but there were a lot of shows with great seasons this year so the drop off was clear and the shows "ranking" got smoked. Haven't seen JeesJo.. prolly won't get to it but I have heard good things… maybe one day I'll care to

Ya, It's a default setting to assume that our "hero's" are altruistic and passionate about the things they promote. Thus far thought the "hero" really doesn't seem to care one way or the other and took a position of convenience to get elected (over somebody he generally agrees with anyway?!) and now that same position

The Judge has ruled that the units (200) must be built. He is allowing council to figure out how and where as they are the "leaders" of the city… they are horrible "leaders" and thus they play to the common denominator. The contempt charge is because the refusal to draft a plan is the same as ignoring the order. The

I wish him all the luck… can't wait to see the movie… but in all honesty this Star Wars thing is the biggest thing to happen to "the movie going industry" in like a bazzilion years… and unlike most hugely promoted and "buzz generating" jibberjabber it seems to be with out controversy… it seems they are putting out a

    Let the Bull loose boys!

No… it was just all the Gerhardts init? Rye, Otto, Dodd, Simone, Bear, and Floydd… was there any more? there was bear's kid Charlie who we didn't catch up with… he'll be in jail for an undisclosed duration.

But the guy who gives him the identity clearly looks like the guy in season 1… like I'm sure it's the same actor. I think the kids playing baseball are the assassins that come after Malvo (sent by that guy)… But I can't see how Hanzee becomes that guy and what happens to the guy himself? Maybe Tripoli is a family

I go there for fargo and Always Sunny…

you make a good point… not only is he the past… but it took him the whole decade to go "full circle". work… work… work… success… "I am your King"… start over from scratch.

it's gotta be the rock, init?

So in simple terms the over arching theme here is that the Reagan era legitimized crime (literally) while the world was distracted looking up at the sky.

    it's a little thing… but it's a nice thing.

I have only seen an episode or 2 from this season… so that is good news.

It all started so "insert random stats here" for me. Not a fan of the social commentary as a foundation… but that stuff gets less and less important as the characters and story develop… it gets running toward the middle and by the last few episodes I was genuinely impressed.

I wonder why it doesn't get more buzz… truth be told I'm in Canada and hadn't even heard of it until it was like Season 7 or 8… Possibly the funniest of the half hour sitcoms at present. Maybe it's the style that throws critics… lots of yelling and talking over each other… It feels like Improvisation as opposed to

Probably the best list I've seen thus far… as far as agreement except I don't like Zombie shows and I'd rank True Detective higher if only for the music.. Banshee is way under rated, this season especially was good. GoT 100% this season was a drop off from last but HardHome was AWESOME!

    yes, drastically… IMO

Cheers is a great show. I agree however, that Ted was fantastic here. I hope he wins something.

I was thinking if they "owned" the precinct in Dakota they likely did know how it all went down. Didn't think they were keeping him out of the way, but that is possible. I just think it was making the point that business is business no matter how you cut it.
