I think it may have been an understanding. I think Hanzee knows at this point that the Blumquist's are not at all the "butcher's" they are believed to be. Hanzee also is "not what they see him as"… My guess is that he felt a connection in that sense.

    Yes…

I'm certain it will… also hoping we don't meet aliens.

Ya… and the build up during the drive while he psyched himself up made it resonate even more. Even after offing the Undertaker and making the arrangement with Ed Mike knows he only has one friend left and this could go south quickly… all at once he must have been thinking… "problem solved"… "WTF?" and "Thank Goodness

If we keep with the commentary of "the time" it is absurd that people reported seeing things in the sky that to this day remain unexplained. that is a part of American history… UFO's in life and in the series represent an absurd distraction from what's happening on the ground. I would argue that those positing they

Simone killing Milligan would be great… I assume she's alive just because of Miller's Crossing.

Ya… me too… but it was short lived init?

what it means is that this guy is regularly in the center of some goood old "dip-shittery"! Mavlo… sioux Falls… and apparently Rapid City. I suspect he gat a commendation from all of this somehow.

    I was thinking…
    1. Hanzee tried to get Floydd not to come, so I assume he would rather not have killed her, but if she was there he had no choice.
    2. When the Dakota Cop said to Ed, "are you stupid?"… Peggy's reaction "HEY!"… was fantastic… she tied up, in custody and helpless… but she'll be damned if she gonna let you

The story line is that he's NOT very effective muscle though. You're done was literal… your services are no longer required. IMO. Also, they expect that Mike will fall in line… they did not expect the black hitman who "somebody had to vouch for" to have such aspirations. They underestimated Mike big time. that has

I'd say comedy… 1. because her character is funny as hell and 2. because I dion't know that she could beat out Regina King (Leftovers) for Dramatic Performance this year.

I agree… I believe it (TD2) will age well… and it certainly got better as it went on… second half was like a reboot into a better show. Just saying the pacing of it was sporadic and the character development suffered because of it… Fargo seems to handle (largely) the same challenges more seamlessly.

    I like it.

    Wait… No way! That's Fricking awesome… I can't believe I missed it… the re-watches will be fun.

Ya… it does get to feel like they are cut and pasting a series of movies together to create an original work… I'd say the music has been very good… a few references are ok… but they lifted whole sequences like the woods… and recreated very similar scenes like Hanzee questioning the shop owner. I also feel like

So…. Who is still waiting to see what a Dakota man can do?

I'd say that writing in UFOs was substantially more complicated than… "toss them in here"… It's like the opposite of lazy writing… the thread has been consistent and I'd argue that the reason this is so controversial now is that it has been handled extremely well thus far. Like it or not UFOs are a huge part of this

    Regarding the very detailed UFO:

As a viewer I feel the same way… However I think there is something to be said for the fact that those who were there (in the show) take with them the memory of a "flying saucer" as opposed to ambiguous lights in the sky that could be X or Y. Lou didn't see something obscured or blurry (like Rye or Hanzee earlier)…

Well I agree with that… the narrator and book images felt a tad gimmicky, odd for such techniques to be added for a second to last episode… Like they were making the point it's a different show now… I wonder if next episode returns to regular format. I can't really think of anything the narrator added for me… so I can
