I think anyone still watching really likes it… and for the reasons you mention. It is however very very sad. and for the most part intends to stay that way. There's portions that are incredibly difficult (The GR stoning almost made me stop Season 1… then Bam even that incident was turned on its head later in the

    *Audible Chuckle*

    I wasn't gonna say anything… but it's true.

I can buy all that and I'm also leaning that way… My only concern is that if he's "special or immortal" we are probably never going to be told why.

I would say that True Detective should be taking notes…
You want season 2 to have a more complicated story, with more main characters, fleshed out fully and inherently intriguing.. throw in some artistically weighted dialogue and keep it all paced perfectly and visually stunning?? Fargo season 2.

I agree… that scene was gut wrenching… but for me it was the thought that Evie might not be "all the way gone"… This was magnified by the "thought" that there was explosives on the trailer and now her mother is "right there"… does she feel anything?!?! will she crack… This again, takes a dive when we find there was

Well you're right… the guys In season 1 seemed to be the top-a-top… and seemed to be Bear. I like that outcome. I forgot his few scenes from season 1… esp the one where he's eating the fish or whatever… just like Bear does.

Fair enough… well played Gonzagylot… well played.

I agree the Speech was good… I also thought during his speech… "people in Miricle don't have relative's"… surely some residents had and conceivably lost loved one's who didn't live in the neighborhood… I felt like that was glossed over with all the "we're spared" stuff all season

I was so scared for Mary when Nora said "10 minutes"… I was like… "something devastatingly terrible could happen in 10 minutes… WTF?!?! I hope she's awake for good… but I have no idea why that would be.

The more I think about it…

The explanation is faith init? That's why the hugs work… people want to believe something… but that's as far as it's gone… Nothing explaining the resurrections or the psychic Eddie Winslow, or Mary… (Which I was ready tpo chalk up to… Faith and wanting to believe… I was ready to say the man imagined the whole thing…

" a different kind of absurdity." Good point.. I felt like they were too heavy handed with the "it's really amazing what I'm gonna do" stuff… "She's gonna change everything…"… for about an hour I had :"this better be good" rattling in my head… so it was anti climactic.

I enjoy the characters… all of them… I just haven't felt the need to write "ideal" outcomes for any. Betsy is easily the one I feel most for… the big eyes, the independence, the edge… and her threat is really unrelated to all this killing and war stuff she has Cancer. As an aside… I really hope Betsy's story end

The shooting up of the house was simply to send a message. Nobody takes "women" seriously so Floydd is not a concern to KC… Though, you're right she should be. Mike was told the men were gone, and that meant the house was vulnerable. I'd say they probably never went inside.

Peggy… Conatance is a lesbian and is very in to Peggy.

Ahhh, ok. I never got that insinuation. My bad.

I get that it was the race of the baby that she was referring to, But she takes the baby… only to leave the baby… It didn't make any sense to me… Other than as a vehicle to have a baby end up helpless among stomping feet… The image was very powerful.

I think he was driving home the point that he was her dad as opposed to just his own grand dad.. Whatever had happened between them. Her father is gone now.

    Exactly!
