Like all the episodes that preceded it… the Finale was better the second time.

I was thinking about the recording as a whole… it is quite depressing save for the last minute or so… Also, Velcoro's "they might say some things about me"… was epic foreshadowing… they are saying all kinds of things about him.. none true… and none what he was expecting or referring to… but ya, the kid will hear lots

what was the point of the phone at the end?

We knew "of" the bad guys… they were identified… just didn't know anything ELSE about them. I see what you mean though… with regards to the audience and the characters being "equally in the dark".

So you don't see Paul and Miguel as drastically different? would you have felt different if Miguel had survived… or even been the one (hiding in place of Frain) who killed Paul? Also, do we really have any idea what the "orientation" of the others (in the shootout) was… or do we assume that unless otherwise stated…

Ya… they kind of came out of nowhere… no contact with the club for 2 months and then hey Frankie… we haven't met but… we work here (very sporadically)

Technically should be called "True Bad guys"… the detectives were out smarted, out matched and out classed by characters they didn't even bother to flesh out… besides "bad guy"… Tony… The Mexicans… Frain… these douche bag bit part characters win the day… if only we'd known them

well, Frank always left first didn't he? also, Ray was there in his dream, and with Ani… I'm pretty sure Frank was only there with Ray… But ya… it was a seedy looking bar and the gangster seemed at home. I think the tone was set the way you see it, because regardless of who has what stake in the Bar… Ray works for

Agreed… it seemed removed from the rest of everything, yet like it should be essential to the plot. I will say, I perked up whenever people were talking there.

    From the jump…
"This is my least favorite life/ the one where you fly, and I don't…."

I agree regarding Paul… and an outdated archtype at that, which I found problematic.

That said… I think the girl (Lera Lynn) is very good. I thouroughly enjoyed the tone she set… specifically in the bar.

You're talking about "Lately"? I agree it was better suited for the scenes in the episode.. but that "no future, no past" stuff should have died with Frank and Ray… they should have switched it up (song and by extension tone) to close out the series.

I fully agree with the lack of resolution… and you're correct about the ambition required in taking on such a project… fleshing out 4 leads (all of whom have actually got more complexity and outside relationships than either of season 1s leads) over a multi-layered story like this was a tall order. pacing suffered and

I agree regarding the transponder… I've heard suggestions that the water could be from the AC… but it wouldn't dry up like that.

    Hilights of the second season:

It was fitting, I think that his vision of Jordan revealed the truth to him… it rings back to when he confided in her… "what if I never woke up, what if It's all a dream"… Somebody's trying to tell me wake up… Jordan tells him… so sad. But it anchors him… because there is a person to wake him… somebody who cares… she

Pain is inexhaustible… It's just the viewers that get exhausted.

I missed his acting… I know "he's dead" thanks!… i would like to have seen it

No, I believe that ambiguity is a cop out… I don't want to invest this amount of time and thought into something that then leaves me to speculate what happens next… Pizz wrote the story… I shouldn't have to finish it like a choose your own adventure.
