Oh and the Blue Diamonds?
Oh and the Blue Diamonds?
I think the scar has to be relevant right? and she like's Velcoro… I don't know.
Notes:
on Ani… She had an epiphany in this episode with regards to who she is, and who she tries to be and how it affects her. In the circle she is trying to make people uncomfortable… she believes men are scum… but the reaction from the doctor vs the reaction from the "sexually aggressive" males shows that her act is…
I just took it as not a good time to be like "well, actually the wife is here maybe we take this up some other time… we were just about to hit the hay" so he said "ya" and would like to hear what's got Ray beating down the door. I am also certain that "Blue balls" reference will gain relevancy when Frank explain's…
Ya, they both complimented each other despite being polar opposites… perhaps two sides of the metaphorical True Detective? I can see making cases for either, but I can't see either getting anywhere substantial without the other.
I think it was supposed to be obvious, but forgettable in the context. As the story moves forward everybody seems to accept that there was retribution and that it damaged Ray and his marriage. So the tragedy happened regardless of who was really killed. Thinking he killed the murderer, his life was ruined… so we move…
If I had to pick I'd say Rust… he was more inquisitive and Marty was more by the book stereo-type cop. Rust was so off putting that the police and indeed the audience at times suspected he may in fact be the killer… But what we saw as dark and twisted was actually neither… he was working a case off the clock… optics…
If it's a woman I am convinced she is attached to the man Ray Killed for Frank.
So Ani's sister… ;-P
Ray also has the hardest road to come to terms with IMO… at his core he has "thus far" believed he had a right by any natural law (it STILL ruined him)… now he has to get past blaming Frank (who is clearly responsible) and accepting that HE is guilty of killing an innocent man… But I guess he has been presented the…
Note: soon-to-be-dead was leading them on a goose chase on purpose… Boyscout was not "solving" anything… you're reaching
I agree with that… and that paints her as the "true detective" here.
well the last episode would imply that it's Ani since she's the one pushing the "closed case" back open… but my gut says Ray…
Maybe Ray shot and killed Franks wife's lover (at the time) because Frank said he was the rapist. This now is her playing the long game
A Bronx Tale Baby!!
Isn't it funny that Ani thinks and acts like a man regarding her own sex life… It adds an extra layer to the regular double standard which would be brother and sister. where sisters sex must be for "others" while brother does what he wants… but here they are both women…
I don't think any of them are "good" at their jobs this season… Velcoros a corrupt murderer with no real sense of what he should be doing… and Paul is a basket case who ideally would like to hand out traffic tickets… but good in a shoot out cuz of his background… I think you're being over sensitive
Marty's mistress was in love with him. She didn't wig out until it was clear he was not ever going to give her a future but still wanted exclusivity. she was not sex crazed.. he was. The shaking of one's Cooch in front of a camera hold no moral score… save for the one we give it… which is again that sex is for men and…
I do wish I could find a review that forgot season 1 existed… or at least focused on season 2 with note of the "connective tissue" between the two… We reviewed season one heavily… what does not cross over to season 2 is less important than what's been added… and the real similarities are few… but they are there to be…
wait.,.. there's a TV show??
