If you could search and sort every word used in every AV Club review, I believe "perfunctory" would top the list. Not a knock - it's a great word.

It has. But in terms of storyline time it's only been a few days at the most.
Criticism certainly warranted, but there are many ways to think about it. The way I rationalize it is at the end of season 2 the real world had Bad Coop. That is now the de facto main character of the series, and so far he's gotten a lot of screen time. That doesn't make the Dougie scenes any more tolerable, but it's…
It feels long to us because of the weeks we have to wait, but think about it: For Coop, it's been what, three days max? It will definitely take a little longer for him to wake up. Mike was definitely echoing all our sentiments tho. Wake up!
I'm frustrated too, but to be fair, the money stuff was about the show's budget, not his salary.
Everyone keeps saying "coke" in every article I read, as if that's the only drug you can snort. Don't you think it may be those Chinese designer drugs?
Just caught up on BCS after watching the first season on TV a couple of years ago. Just out of curiosity, is there a Breaking Bad spoiler policy on these forums? Someone above referenced how Hector can't die, but someone who hasn't seen BB doesn't know that. Is it assumed that we can talk freely about BB because it…
Fitting that this article/video is on the Onion. The only thought that kept looping through my mind was "are you fucking serious?" He said the prequels were good!
Bobby kills a guy who was going to kill him during a drug deal. What's confusing is it seems to be the same guy who played the corrupt Canadian Mountie in the series (one-eyed jacks, dead dog farm).
Biggest question for me is if Dougie was invented, how was a complete life/family/home invented as well?
Forster - great choice
Am I the only one who thought that the AmnesiaCoop bits wore a little thin? Only gripe so far.
Enjoy! Next weekend headed to a screening in Philly where they edited in all the extra footage according to the original shooting script. Not sure it would have been Lynch's final vision, but I'll take it.
He actually has a line in the last episode that says "Next time you see me it won't be me." New dwarf?
With Lynch/Frost at the helm for all the episodes, I'm telling myself that there's no way this can't be fantastic.
It would be a huge problem to skip the original. Time's running out! :)
I recently re-watched, but after the murder was solved, I only watched the Cooper/Earle/Briggs parts. Makes such a difference.
Wait, you haven't seen the finale? It's up there with any of Lynch's other work.
"Anyone know if Frank’s vague, old man shuffling is a reference?"
GH is probably the most gifted actor on the show, much more capable of layering his character than the others.
