Dammit, now I want to see Roger Corman's The Chronicles Of Narnia: A SyFy Original Miniseries.

Since I mentioned my Quixotic quest for the perfect episode for a newbie, it occurs to me that Monster A-Go Go has arguably the perfect example of a simple movie riff:

*Rex briefly considers changing his handle to Sinister Eldritch Wingdings*

Y'know, while The Skydivers is a remarkably bad movie, even by MST3K standards, that comment always felt like dramatic hyperbole to me, considering that by that time they'd already done Monster A-Go Go, The Creeping Terror, Attack Of The The Eye Creatures, and of course Manos. I guess the pain of those earlier

Pshaw. It's easily the worst movie they did, followed closely by The Creeping Terror. And Beast Of Yucca Flats wins the bronze, I guess.

SHH! Syfy could be listening.

You misspelled Bryan Cranston. Like, really not even close.

Exactly why I think it would be better than an entirely new actor. Give Cooper the same haircut and beard that Downey sports as Tony, plus a more natural American accent and the transition could go pretty smoothly. Plenty of sons look just like their fathers.

Bowie?

Could they create a new, younger character to wear the armor, with or without Downey's Stark as a mentor? Sure. I'd like to see that kind of genuine, long-term continuity, especially as a contrast to other franchise's infinite recasting/rebooting.

Call me crazy, but imagine Dominic Cooper filling Robert Downey Jr's shiny red and gold boots.

I don't understand people's fixation with that nonsensical theory. The file was fabricated to disgrace Peggy; Vernon Masters said so himself. "This is an official document. It doesn't matter if it's true." How would her brother being alive harm her career? It's all just baseless speculation originating from viewers

Ever see Conan O'Brien in street clothes, wearing a baseball cap? I'm not suggesting actually casting him, but that's what I see in my head.

I know, right?

Peter Stormare?

I just Googled his name and now I'll be seeing that face in my nightmares.

Wednesday has been Brian Cox in my head for over a decade, but this is an acceptable substitute. McShane seems more like Czernobog material to me, but I can't complain.

For what it's worth, I would eagerly read that comic. Helicopter backpacks and/or the Agents of Atlas would be icing on the cake.

She must have some excellent attributes for you to overlook such a deficiency.

I think they were just going for a cotton candy roller derby color scheme to visually distance Harley from Joker. I don't really like it, but I get the reasoning behind it.
