I thought the debut album was great, looking forward to this! Any chance of a review of the new Vince Staples album later this week?

Although his last album wasn't amazing, I'm going to give the new Big Boi album a try.

'Tarantino never makes any attempt to ground them in a reality that looks anything like our own'

Zatoichi's music number at the end has nothing to do with the rest of the film, but it's utterly glorious.

And this is probably one of the best scores the film's had so far

Someone needs to rank all the 'Once Upon a Time in…' films. Presumably this one will be bottom?

I have faith that Brad Bird wouldn't be doing this if he felt it wasn't up to the first one.

It's OK, just a year to wait until The Incredibles 2!

No, it's tracks four and five on a ten track album

I like it, but I think it's very front loaded, drops off a lot after Love Like a Sunset. I much prefer It's Never Been Like That, which is fantastic.

Seems like a relevant place to post this:

Yeah, I think you don't see them successfully collect a bounty until around episode 8.

Saint Etienne and Marika Hackman are the pick of this week's new releases for me, though I will give Amber Coffman a try as well.

'Y'know, I always thought that Matt Damon was like a Streisand, but he's rockin' the shit in this one!'

Kevin Hart, Ed Helms AND Nick Kroll in a film, and it's good? *head explodes*

I think that Cornelius album is out in June in Japan, with the rest of the world getting it in July. Good to have him back anyway. Ditto for Saint Etienne!

The twin of Jérémie Renier's character in L'Amant Double isn't played by Jeremy Renner? Missed opportunity!

Everyone always rages about how many bloody Spider-Man reboots we've had but what they do expect? Even that second Andrew Garfield one which nobody liked at all made $700 million, which may have been seen as disappointing for the studio, but it's a long way from being a bomb (see also: Batman v Superman). This new one

I think I saw an opening weekend prediction of $40 million in the US, which didn't seem bad.
*checks* Oh wait, that's for five days. And I guess the international box office won't be huge for a Baywatch film. Maybe we will be spared the sequel then!

This along with CHiPs recently makes me even more appreciative of what Lord and Miller managed with the Jump Street films.
