I had the pleasure of seeing Leslie Nielsen in a one-man play about Clarence Darrow about 15 years ago, and let me tell you, I was *amazed* by his performance. Really, Nielsen doesn't get nearly enough respect as an actor.

I don't remember the title, or from which season it came, but the episode where Comic Book Guy hooked up with Skinner's mother was the last time I ever gave a damn about The Simpsons. The show had a done a number of "meh" episodes by that point, but this one was so aggressively not funny that keeping up with the show…
