TY!

Agreed, Lucelucy and it's happened to me many times!

Hi Lucelucy! I never meant for you to "see it my way" or push you in that direction. I love that this site is so welcoming and overflowing with commenters who are not only very intelligent but share their thoughts, theories and insights. I only found this group 3 weeks ago but it sure has made my Rectify experience

Prior to Daniel's release from Death Row, inferences had been made that led me to believe that Tawny was very involved with her church on a continual basis. Just from casual comments that Teddy and/or Tawny made to each other over dinner or at bedtime, I had the impression that the church was a hugely important part

Yep, his "old-fashioned" values resulted in him basically insisting that his "little woman's" role only allowed for her to be a housewife! Remember how threatened Teddy got when he came home one evening (I think the time frame was right after her miscarriage, but I'm not positive about that.) Teddy found her in bed

How utterly heartbreaking for those parents - I truly cannot fathom losing a precious child and then nearly simultaneously to be targeted by incompetent officials. All theories of what happened to Hannah deserve consideration, but personally, I find it impossible to believe that a 13 y/o girl would purposefully choose

Nope, George was all alone when he killed himself, but I can't clearly remember the content of the emotional conversation they had that preceded George going to the river.

Did Trey testify? I don't think so…I remember Trey defensively reminding Daniel (while they were at George's trailer) that it was George that testified against him — not Trey. Did I imagine that??

Beautifully stated. About Deadwood - I must have been living under a rock all 3 yrs - to have it not even register on my radar. Violence, language or Western are non-issues to me. That you called it Rectify's cousin, I find exciting! So, many thanks for the recommendation about Deadwood! I just ordered the complete

I don't think George did it - no way! I think he blew his brains out because of his massive guilt stemming from his own guilt in raping Hannah AND his direct TESTIPHONY (lies) at Daniel's trial that certainly greased the runway for Foulkes in obtaining the death penalty verdict. It would have been very interesting to

Foulkes IS the definition of dirty…with what we know of his purely self-serving and calculated malfeasance; he is clearly guilty of prosecutorial misconduct. His egregious and underhanded conduct would have made a conviction obtainable, if not for his compromised health status.
But, equally satisfying will be next year

The only person that I personally can rule out being responsible for the murder of Hanna is Daniel. This isn't based on legal evidence or proof, obviously, but I am absolutely convinced of his innocence. If it turns out that I'm wrong - I will gobsmacked! And, I'll have to admit my own confirmation bias, to boot!

Yep and why would Chris begin his 'detailed version' in front of Daggett & his associate by stating "this is something that could entirely ruin lives" - his attorney is sitting right with him and has obviously previously informed his client that unless direct evidence of his DNA is located that the 15 yr statute of

Thank-you Darrell! This comment of yours completes this puzzle piece for me. Remember how some people here commented that it was possible that Trey had planted the gun at the Holden's while Daniel slept? That really felt creepy to me on a level that was worthy of Trey's often creepy actions and it seemed possible.

"Gotta disagree about the scene on the beach. One of my favorite things
about this show is how awkward Daniel is. He spent 19 years in a box
with (almost) nothing but books and his own thoughts. It is amazing he
can have a conversation with anyone." Ditto & Exactly!
Daniel was basically just a kid when sent to

I loved that Daniel told his mom "See you in the funny papers!"

So well said. And I loved that John kissed Daniel and gave him a hug! The only time he was *ever* touched for 19 years in prison was very brutal. Daniel needs a lot of hugs. It seemed to open him up!

I've been in this camp all season but this morning I read the following great article where Ray McKinnon explains why it will most likely be 6 again. http://www.indiewire.com/ar…

And disturbing a dead body instead of anyone's normal response of just calling the police…

Daggett is excellent in this role. So many great actors on this show.
