Thanks, completely forgot that.

Marnie's purposefully soft, soothing tone was so grating.
I thought the same thing. Nice life if you can get it. Also how is this pregnancy beginning and ending all in warm weather? There should've been at least a couple of different seasons in there. It's like some iron-clad rule: all of Girls must take place in hot weather. (this could've been fall or spring, but if she's…
Ugh, that line from Marnie, "I win." That was disgusting. She was just play-acting the concept of "best friend" to make herself feel better, like she had a purpose in life.
They weren't there because she moved away. Probably if she'd stayed in NYC, somebody else would've been there.
As a mom, I didn't find this episode that entertaining. It's like watching somebody else's birth video. You really don't need to see that. Hannah's problems with breastfeeding just weren't that compelling. For the final moment of the entire series to be when her baby finally latches is kind of unbelievable. Like…
That's exactly what I got from it too and I think it's pretty problematic.
Yep, that seems like what they were going for. /sigh
I wonder if she has on her pants in the diner. :) Just joking.
I don't think Hannah had postpartum depression. She was just having trouble breastfeeding. She seemed angry more than anything else.
You're complaining because there was a main character? Was it ever in doubt?
Yeah, the characters were about as mean as they've ever been, but I think that was a reflection of how stressful having a new baby is, and not being able to breastfeed. Maybe they were trying to show what Loreen said, this is finally real and you can't take it back==super stressful when you feel everything has serious…
Yeah, but on the other hand, it did end with Grover latching after all that. The implication was that Hannah only had to let go and finally accept her new role as a mother for it to work. I kept wishing Hannah would talk to a real breastfeeding expert. Surely there was one available!
I enjoyed it but was kind of disappointed as a series finale. It felt more like an epilogue. That being said, this might be the most likable Loreen has ever been. And the image of Hannah with the breast pump backpack - Ghostbuster - was priceless.
It may be straightforward in that the goals are obvious when they're babies and little, but it's still stressful especially if you're doing it alone. Add to that NYC, which is a stressful expensive place to live.
I was wondering that too. Didn't Adam's sister run away and leave the baby with him? And Jessa was forced to "help."
She had a prominent role in the episode when she went to the business mixer. Maybe she'll be back for more in later eps.
I think it's kind of out of character for Hannah to want to have the baby, although I guess you never know how you'll react. I think it would be highly unusual for someone like her (20's, single, low-income, middle-class, educated) in NYC to not have an abortion.
Because it's really hard to be a single parent and it makes it a lot harder to find a partner or have to time for anything other than work and parenting. She's making almost nothing.
They really packed a lot into this episode. Are they really and truly going to "redeem" Hannah by having her have a baby?? That seems so pat and conventional. I'll believe it when I see it, although at this point, it seems like the way they're going. I'm not convinced it's in character though.
