I agree. It was always just furtive, forbidden sex for Marnie, she never wanted an actual, regular relationship. In fact, I was surprised this season when they showed her and Ray as if they had a regular BF/GF relationship. But then that turned out not to be true, hah

I thought Adam wrote the screenplay. Jessa said she didn't even read it!

This drove me crazy. It was an impossibility that really took me out of the story.

Ooh thanks for that link, I've been curious.

I'd like to know why Carrie keeps leaving her daughter alone with an unstable, unwell man like Quinn.

Sekou's case was so dumb. Why was Carrie so motivated that she'd break the law and endanger herself and her child? Also she's not a lawyer, she can't negotiate the dismissal (or whatever it was) of Sekou's case. Also Sekou would've had to explicitly agree to the terms, not be surprised by them after the fact.

Read the book, loved it, loving the show so far. Can't beat this cast. Don't like the move to Monterey. I might be wrong, but these characters seem way richer than the ones in the book. I had the impression they were upper middle class, not rich. Love Andrew Scott but he doesn't seem to have any chemistry with Reese

No, it definitely isn't. That would never happen in real life. The accusation would be discussed in private. It was what happened in the book, but seeing it on screen just looked like the Nazis took over the village or something.

If the play wasn't for the school, why was there a petition against it? I read the book but don't remember anything about the play.

Keeping the murder victim a secret is a Liane Moriarty writing trick.

I kind of agree, it's not completely capturing my interest, plot wise, but it looks amazing and I'm loving Tom Hardy and Jonathan Pryce. I like the use of the slave trade and the occasional whispers of the supernatural. Also love Oona Chaplin and Franka Potente. Didn't even recognize Mark Gatiss! Great makeup in this

You don't remember him drinking before he went to work last season? I thought he was supposed to be an alcoholic, but they completely dropped that this season.

How was she abused?

That's not traumatic at all. Right.

I thought Helen going to Montauk wasn't very believable. Seemed to be mostly to get her in the bar with Alison and in position to confess to Cherry.

Characters never carry purses. Ever. One of the most unrealistic things about TV/movies.

I didn't believe Alison and Helen would openly discuss this in a local bar where anyone could overhear.

Wow, really? I thought this episode was ridiculous. Mostly Noah's part. Bad Gunther was entirely an hallucination??? I figured the out-of-prison stalking part was an hallucination but that Gunther really had harassed Noah in prison. What explains his shoulder injury, I wonder. Him stabbing himself in the neck is

I fast forwarding through all the Quinn scenes. I can't stand it.

I loved Berlin Station. Not perfect, but an intriguing spy show with good performances.
