I like mountain man Vincent.

Having only seen the films, I always think of her as pretty detached, slowly leaving her own humanity behind… does Stand Alone Complex change this?

That damn tennis movie! They just shouldn't ever make movies about tennis.

I haven't been able to take her seriously since she did that album of Tom Waits covers. I mean… fuck off.

The original film still stands up though. A stunning, standalone work.

I was getting excited at the first clip or two, and then it reminded me. SCARLET IS IN THIS. Lost all interest rapidly.

I fucking HATED that shit

He is still around (thank god), but I am starting to stall… I think I am amid that part that people refer to as the 'slow middle seasons'…

Mooncop looks a little pretentious to me I have to say…

Birthright is one of those comics I hand to people who are in the 'Superman sucks' camp, but have never bothered to read him in his mother medium, comics. It has converted 100% of the people I have handed it to, so it's doing something right.

I liked that for the use of the wonderful term 'floppy comic'. Thanks for the smiles, Power Girl!

Good to know! I like Lemire's writing a lot.

There are definitely some good episodes peppered throughout. I just think of it as the Bold and the Beautiful with Superman, and it makes it a lot more palatable. Exceptional trash, you know? Mind you, I have been re-watching it for 22 months now and I am barely half way…

Absolutely! It's nice to know that all those wonderful years (I think of the stretch between the late 80s and the late 90s… wow, that was good… the talent involved!) are still going, in their fashion.

I'll check them out. I loooove old Kirby OMAC.

Have you read All Star yet? I had a look, it's pretty bad… JR JR needs to get his act together too.

The art on Rebirth Green Arrow really got me in, but I have just dropped it. The first arc was good, but I felt like I needed more.

I am yet to read new 52 Green Arrow, but I have heard good things.

Yeah, I have not been going to X-men for quite some time, which is sad… I have everything from about '85 right through til the late 90's, and it just dropped off badly (briefly rekindled with Morrison's excellent first two thirds of New X-men)… One day, one day. Planning on getting Black Panther as a trade (Stelfreeze

Too grisly, and it just didn't really go anywhere. Also, apart from a couple of exceptions (Capullo among them), the art was just terrible. Unfortunately New 52 had a looooot of bad art going on, with a few greats peppered among them.
