I have been rewatching Smallville (no small task, pardon the terrible pun), and I am realizing that the best episodes are Lex, Lionel and Chloe heavy, and the worst are definitely the Lana heavy episodes. When it is good, it's good, but when it's bad- wow, what a punish!

Admittedly, I have been enjoying Superman much more than Action… probably going to drop Action. Might give it one more issue and then decide.

I liked Morrison's treatment of the Charlton characters in Multiversity… they should just run with that. They're all ciphers for eachother anyway. Borrow it back, and it retains Moore's cred, with a cheeky wink to the original content.

Didio: In the bin! Total wanker. I would like to see Vertigo given the pride of place that Young Animal is being given however. Why make a 'new Vertigo' when you have the real life legacy brand right there?

New 52 largely sucked. I liked Superman, Wonder Woman (pre Finch) and Animal Man. The rest was pretty garbage. People wank on about Batman, but I didn't see it. That whole Joker thing was shithouse.

The price tag has actually gotten me buying single issues for the first time in about fifteen years. It's affordable again.

I tend to follow the creators wherever they go, and as such, I am reading Silver Surfer and the Vision right now, but man… Marvel have been publishing some shite the last few years…

Interesting that people have been bitching about the Supes/Doomsday fight going on for like five issues, and then you realize- oh, wait, it's only been two months. The bi-weekly schedule is pretty great when they understand how kinetic it can be, and comics are wonderful for that reason. However, yes, Action has had

Superman, Green Arrow, Nightwing and Batgirl are the first DC comics I have really worried about since new 52 Wonder Woman and Animal Man, and before that it had been quite a long while. I have pretty much only been buying Image and Dark Horse since about 2005. It's definitely working better than it has in ages.

Just a note to the editors- that image up there is most definitely not Adam Kubert. Try his less-talented brother, guys.

I play Wilco the Album and Star Wars an awful lot…

I like it like a fat boy likes cake

He's an easy target, because he's so big. I mean that metaphorically, not figuratively. Actually… I mean it figuratively too.

To you.

We've got Pitchfork for that haha. They're absolutely obsessed!

Yessss Regina! Excellent news!

Oh man, Nick Cave, Wilco, Drive-By Truckers AND MEAT LOAF!!! I am going to die and going to go to my own nerdish music heaven!

Here in Australia, the only people that buy anything else are rich pricks that want to show off with their Eurotrash, or the odd redneck that can't do without their Holden.

The manga is absolutely amazing. While I do like the film on some level, man, the comics just continually blow my mind. I try to read the whole thing once every few years, and every time I notice new things. It's wonderful, dense and ever-so much fun to read.

Fuck yeah, Oceans. Great song.
